I bought 3 patterns, 2were the McCalls that I posted about and 1 was a simplicity.  One of the books, don't remember which had a section called Vintage.  It stopped before it got to the 1980s & 1990s.  I sure would love to have some on my old warm up patterns I used to use.

Exactly like that mmhmm. I never thought to look at ebay for something like that. I even learned how to put in zippers for jackets back then...I'd sure have some trouble with that now. I love ones with pockets in the front too, or with a cowl neckline.

Guess I'll spend some time on ebay tonight.

That looks nice!  I used to hate polka dots, but like that kind  I have been so tempted to buy (or have my mom make) a dress with blue or red just like that.

I've decided once I get the spare room "set up" better, I need to learn to sew.  I'm really need to going to do something to keep myself awake on nights I need to transition for work.  I think sewing could be something for those nights, and would be productive as well.

Ebay has a lot of vintage patterns available. Enough that it takes a good deal of time to look through them all. Happy hunting!

Wow, that's awesome!  I wonder if I can sneak a sewing machine into work on my 12 hour night shifts (usually about 1 hour of assigned work, the rest of the time they just need you there in case of emergency). 

If I can't get the sewing machine, I'm probably going to crochet during the shifts, a ball of yarn and a hook would fit in my lunch box easy
