DH just called. He wants out of "jail." When my dad was coming out of anesthesia after his bypass surgery, the nurse tested him to see how his memory was working. She asked him what his name was and he gave the right name. She then asked him what date it was. He gave her a date that was a day or two off. That was okay too. She then asked him if he knew where he was. He responded 'The Hamden county jail?" The nurse laughed and said "Close enough". |

My neighbor was diagnosed with the same FOUR years ago and he's doing quite well thank you. Treatments leave him a bit uncomfortable for a day or so but you would never know he's been in a fight.

OldCoyote, colon cancer isn't ever good news to receive, but it can be beaten. It's not fun, but I've got a feeling you've fought your way through more than a few tight spots along the way. Hang in there, share what burden you can with us, and know we do care. You're always welcome to vent here. We've got broad shoulders, too. |

DH had colon cancer over 30 years ago. Believe me, hes not going to die from that. Medicine has improved a million times since then. He's got an internal pouch so no bag. If you need to get that, go that route.

If you truly like your smart phone what Brand? Is anything better then the Microsoft Nokia 1520? ( Lumia) Yes, the BlackBerry Passport is the best smartphone ever made. It's essentially a laptop in your hands. The 4.5 inch square screen is about 1 inch smaller in width than a 7" tablet in portrait, and half as tall. The keyboard is great, the swipe typing KILLS predictive typing the battery is awesome. So happy with this "phone" |

Well the Dr. Found a way to get oldcoyote upset, I had a CT scan last Wednesday for the colon cancer, I have been waiting for the report, So I called today about it, The Dr. is out of the office until the 15th, the surgery is tentative set for the 18th. nothing like leaving you hanging!!  |
