Yep not liking her at all. But I know she is not going to be there the whole season. I think I read 5 episodes so she will be gone at some point. BUT they are not going to kill her off because she said that she is open to coming back next year for some episodes.

This show has changed into something totally different than how it started and I am not liking it! I am only caught up through last week but it is starting to look like Invasion of the Body Snatchers but not as good. Really? Purple crystals and slime that turns the townsfolk into pod people?
I am not ready to give up on it (you know my whole loyalty thing) but it has moved wayyyy down the list of my favorite shows.

To be fair, I was less than enthused about the ending of the book as well, but that makes the book ending sound way better.

I am actually liking it just fine.  I've never seen invasion of the body snatchers so if it is a poor rip off I don't know it.

Getting more bizarre every week. I am still watching but the whole body snatchers, people jumping out windows like zombies is really turning me off. It has changed so much from the original premise it is hardly recognizable anymore.

Yeah, I actually like this season better than last season.  I was going to stop watching but became intrigued by the current storyline.  Every time I think I am out, I get pulled back in

I am glad you guys are liking it. I still am not. It is just so different from the original premise, it has morphed into something unrecognizable from what it started out to be. And I hate that I hate Marg's character. I just want her gone!!!

Yea and I am not alone on not liking this season. 60% of FB peeps think it is a bad season.

Yes it was also my understanding that Christine was only going to be in like 4 episodes. But if you notice she isn't in every episode. And I know they aren't going to kill her off because when the interviewed Marg Helgenberger before the season started she said she was open to coming back next year.

I haven't seen last night's show yet as I watch a week behind but I was over on the FB page and I think there are only 2 episodes left and someone said the dome is coming down. I don't think they have decided yet if they are going to do another season.

And the ratings also show that people are not liking the storyline this season. I just posted 2 weeks worth of ratings and it dropped from 7 to 10 to 16 and 17 in the last 4 ratings weeks that I have posted.

Well it is official CBS has cancelled Under The Dome. I had a feeling since this year was not very good and the ratings were consistently dropping every week. Even though I wasn't impressed with this season I was hoping for one more season to turn it around and get back to the original premise of the show.

Yep ratings continue to drop, it didn't even make the top 25 on the last list.
I haven't watched the finale yet but according to FB posts it wasn't very good and not at all like a series finale should be. But of course it was filmed long ago before CBS cancelled it so it was only suppose to be a season finale. Oh well.

I actually like the finale.  It was nothing like the book but I liked it better.  The ending that is.

Joe rigged the amethysts to bring the dome down. The government rounded everyone up, made up a cover story & let the 5 rebels go. Everyone else is locked in a government facility. Flash to one year later....Big Jim is a Senator, Lily is his aide. She & Hunter are a couple & he works for NSA. Julia & Barby are together just traveling & Norry is in the Army. Then they spot Dawn (the new queen) still alive & she has another egg. The End.

Hmmm, I don't recall all the characters you mentioned but it has been a season and a half since I watched regularly. Sounds spectacularly blah.

Yea if you didn't watch this year none of that would make sense to you since most those characters are new.
I thought the finale was eh. I think I am glad they didn't renew it.

I watched all 3 seasons and would have much preferred they stick to the original mini series plan. I was really annoyed when it kept going and totally deviated from the original plot. Regardless, it gave me something to watch other than lame competition shows.
