is a great tool that you can see where it was spent. You can actually pull up by zip code , see of any, funds, hit your area and with a few clicke here and there, {the blue circles} actually see waht was spent , where. My zip code , $2.330.000 give/take a bit..quick survey was my town, zip code area, roads and things, didn't look deep into it. You don't agree as to how it was spent? That's for another thread, and sorry Burns, I checked, your area got squat. I found it interestiong, hope you all do too. History of the thing is a 31 year old computer whiz from private sector joined the government , came up with the program, so rather then keep it all a secret , as in the past on these expendatures {possible going to now put together one for you ed on Obama's vacations, ;D" were kind of secret, this is a revelutionary tool for the average shmo to track the $ , where and who got it. --------------------------------------------------- www.recovery.gov/Pages/default.aspx

Did you try the "whiz kid" program with one of those fictitious zip codes Obama made up? Should find a few hundred million in those zones... I mean pockets.

".........help me out here, OK , you too Krickett, Ed, P.I, Henry, Palm...anyone , explain to me, please.........."
Love to desi, just as soon as you answer the open questions on those other threads. You know the ones. You opened one of them. It was about the muslim brotherhood. And the other one, you mentioned the subject again here, , , , NPR. You gave krickett a swipe, and cajoled that her thinking was askew , , , but you dodged mine entirely.

I answered a lot on that thread already..I put up the thread , made my post to it...there are times one wants to get involved , then there are times one doesn't..I asked your help here only because of your interest on one segment of expenditures, don't want to get involved in it, then just leave it alone. When I have time, will do some investigation on the "Brotherhood " and try to respond...rather do a bit of look up instead of shooting from the hip as you seem to do and just let my mouth do the yapping, not ones brain..takes time on some subjects..you should try it sometime ".........help me out here, OK , you too Krickett, Ed, P.I, Henry, Palm...anyone , explain to me, please.........." On this one, you brought this over from another place, it has nothing to do with this thread which was put up just for some who might be interested in seeing if their communities have received any of the funds, but for you, to hijack the thread for you for your personal vendetta toward me , that is stalking , a attack on me. We don't do that here , you know that, you are in, in my opinion, stalking me, a violation of the C of C.

Well, , , , , I have to make choices, too. I can either watch your posts get edited to the point that they don't convey the same thoughts any more, (or maybe they do, it's just so blooming hard to tell what point you're trying to make most of the time), or I can do research. Don't have time for both. But it's good to know you're interested in what the muslim brotherhood has in mind for America. Was I you, I'd do my study on that subject in a hurry. Up to now, you seem to be waaaaayyyy behind the rest of the class.
And ETA . . . when called on by posters about the terseness in your retorts you repeatedly fall back on mentioning that your posts contain "tongue in cheek" quips. I wonder why it is that you can't see tongue in cheek in anybody else's posts. Mine are just brimming with tongue in cheek. Can't you tell?
Krickett doesn't have a serious bone in anything she posts. Why can't you relate to that? Same same PI, ed, palm and just about the entire roster. It's a real laugh fest. You might join in rather than just kibbitz from the sidelines about it. It'd sure make the day seem more meaningful, doncha think?
And now, about this thread. Yes, it was about spreading the stimulus. Let's get back to it.
My zip didn't get any stimulus money. But it's good to know the taxpayers of America donated so much to yours. I hope your leaders were good stewards of it. But I'm even more glad that mine were good stewars in the first place and didn't need any.

Posters often times ignore other posters for various reasons known only to them. Some even publicly say so. Address the thread at hand. Tennesseer/Moderator

Ten Four Tenneseer, I'm still getting my feet on the ground here, and desi never fails to remind people, (me in particular), when they/we skip on his questions. I'm sure all of his rants about what is in other people's minds, where they come from, what they do, and how they feel is the soul substance of his tongue in cheek stuff, too. I stand chastized.

Well, at least I am in good company if desi gets a few "words" from a moderator, too. Am I being presumptious to ask if it will be for public consumption?
Mine was.

Dezi-you need to stay on track too. And run everything through spell check before you post-it is hard to read.

I'm jealous. My dressing down was in public. I wonder what hoops do I have to jump through to get e-mails, or pm's , or whatever it is, instead of having to wear stocks in the village square. Everybody may be equal here, but it sure sounds like some are more equal than others.

In any case, has anyone run through one of Obama's fake zip codes yet? I'm wondering what that would do to the "whiz kid's" business rule logic.

Our zip codes must have been amongst the "real" zip codes, as our state, apparently, got quite a bit of stimulus income. Of course, it is a depressed state. When I'm out and about, and look around me, I sometimes think I understand why. Then, I slap myself and remind myself these are good folks. They may not be big-city, highly educated, sophisticated folks; however, they've got other assets to offer and those should also be appreciated.

Sure wish people would spend their time charting where the money came from, what it will cost in interest, develop a plan of how it will be payed back and then help organize voters to get these thugs out!!!!
