Ed , you are treating this as a Foot Ball game , you lost this year , but just wait till next year, you have fraduated 50 % of your team, and we have 99% of our team coming back, so lets get it on. Read more: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=politics&action=display&thread=4443&page=2#ixzz1G307MzXidez, actually you must be suffering from "sometimers" (sometimes you remember and sometimes you don't). The GOP had an historic victory in this last Nov. 2010 elections, and is slated to annihilate the Dems next year. You people argue, out of one side of your mouths how the unions make up only a small percentage of the whole population. To that argument alone, you are quite correct. With that said, however, that is your voting block come the 2012 elections. America just showed all Libs that we are going to replace all of the scum with 100% Constitutional candidates. Even when it comes to replacing the scum in the GOP. You people are going to LOSE, and lose badly. So, hold on to your panties, and don't let them get all twisted up when you hear the election results in Nov. 2012. ;D "had an historic victory " It seems all victories by some are rated historic, never could understand that. "all of the scum " It also is a fact as shown here that there are some who post here who are in need of psychiatric help as they are twisted in mind toward their fellow citizens and neighbors to so address them, just because of a difference in opinion when it comes to poliical ideas. You really , as has been pointed out, need professional help, your posts are not of a normal person.

Not quite. Do you understand the basics of the bill at all? If you choose not to have health insurance, then you pay a fee, which is calculated & paid with the filing of your taxes. The penalty for not filing, not paying, lying, etc, are all based on the current tax code. It would have nothing to do with whether or not you owed that single fee, but rather whether or not you followed the law in filing your taxes correctly.
That is just one small part of the bill. How you think that makes the healthcare reform just another tax is beyond me. I guess if you ignored 98% of the bill, then you could say it is just another tax.

The historic victory was lost on the Senate, and is coming back to haunt the GOP with recalls all over the country. People in the US wanted changes, they are realizing the change they are getting from the GOP is not what they wanted.

Also since the majority of people don't pay taxes and quite a few people get a tax credit/refund paid to them. A large amount of people required to pay this fee will end up paying with tax payers money.

And it wasn't just Congressional like in 1994. Democrats lost everything from the governor's mansions and state houses down to dog catcher.

Are no muslims real americans to you? Larry Johnson, Shaq, Muhammed Ali, Mos Def, Everlast, etc - all not real americans?
You can cherry pick in any context but overall Muslims have cost you trillions and are right on track to bankrupt you and infiltrate your system using the tools foolish, naive Americans furnish them. The unthinkable is a reality right now where your Commander in Chief is strongly suspected of being Muslim. At the very least he was brought up in a Muslim context for several years, this is not refutable. An incredible situation when you think about it.

I agree not the norm when it comes to the POTUS, usually brought up in one of the denomonmations of the Protestants and once in a Catholic household, no Jewish ones yet so that we have to look forward to. Methinks the Jews are being left out..if alive when that happens , you also going to post, ""An incredible situation when you think about it" ;D

Republicans are 6 points ahead (marginal at most), what happen to the 51% that they peaked at? Again people are deciding they don't like what they see.
More and more people are becoming moderates with a swing vote. As republicans sit on their hands with the economy and push for social changes, voters is getting more and more frustrated.
The younger voters will show up to the polls in 2012, wanting jobs and the republicans will tell them "no new jobs, but we saved you from funding women's health services, I mean abortions".
And all this coming from a party that almost disappeared two years ago. You would think they would have learned how quickly the tables can turn.
By the way who is going to be the Republican pick for President?
Trump?? Newt?? Romney?? The Republican's will loose a huge part of their voting base because the Tea Party will not back any of them. They will go with their candidate that the die hard Republicans will not back. The party is fractured.

Just going to start throwing out numbers like overall muslims have cost us trillions. Um, Ok. And really, going back to the argument that Obama might be a muslim....so sad really, you've got nothing better to back up your point but some rumors. Great debating with you Burns

Pardon me? I have 10 years worth of data. Since 9/11 you have expanded government enormously... Homeland Security, TSA, 2 wars ect. ect. ect. Do you have any idea how much you have spent on security since then? Any idea at all? Trillions, thats how much. This is an undeniable fact. Don't attempt to marginalize my proper and factual information. It makes you look even worse than just being a simple liberal. /Dalton

Muslims live all over the world & most have no interest in destroying our country. If you want to place the blame for all this spending, then don't try to place the blame on a large group of more than a billion people, why don't you rightly place it on al-queda, bin laden, & the extremists that are actually committing these terrorist acts. Blaming everyone in an entire religious group for the actions of the minority makes you look like nothing more than a stereotyping conservative.

This is an undeniable fact. " No, again your over stating by "trillions" that is the fact. That we spent $ on defenses after the hijacking of planes 9/11, it's true. You feel not necessary, thats your opinion, and I and millions of us take it in stride, don't fight it, go to the airports prepared , ready to remove shoes, no change in pockets, have it down to a science , my way, a over the shoulder small carry on. All things into it , watch, gold bracelet, no change in pockets, meds in separate case into it, loafers on, sports jacket, usually a blazer with stuff in pockets through the scanner, braces on chino's, no belt..ready to go. Last trip, three minutes tops, OK, I lied, 4 minutes. Wars, two. One almost finished, other one a mess true, still being figured out but we did go after the ones who did the 9/11..punished them, put them on the run, they are never going away, but they are constantly looking over their shoulder, careful of even walking by a phone, communication device, harder time raising funds, leaders moving around constantly, granted new groups have formed and we will be at them possible forever. It will be part of our culture and we will learn to take it in style. Possible be attacked again, some time, no way to guarantee 100% that it will never happen , but it will not bring us down, just make us stronger. The "woe is us "comes from some like you on everything, never positive on anything, but as with the ones who wish us harm, the majority of us semi hear you, and go on with our lives , in this case just sharing, communicating, agreeing, disagreeing , arguing but as far as your chatter, it resonates like a mosquito buzzing outside ones ear on a hot summer day, a bit annoying but usually done away with by a simple wave of ones hand, some times actually connecting and "smack " , problem gone till another one comes by. Then all starts again , wave of a hand and ....

Are you fully aware of the number of attacks that this country has had since 9/11 by Muslim terrorists? Are you aware of the cooperation by the Muslim Community in these attacks and those that were stopped by private citizens.. Even National Security Deputy McDonough addressed this subject and he is NOT a stereo typical conservative but rather a member of the Obama administration....but nice attempt at trying to spin and hype the concerns about the radicalization of Islam in this country by pointing the finger at conservatives.... rather lame to say the least

There are 1-1.5 billion muslims in the world. If the majority wanted to wipe us out, then we would be gone by now. So yes, the radical muslims are the minority within the muslim community. It amazes me that some people seriously believe that over 1 billion people in the world would have the exact same ideology.

Are you kidding me? Most of them live in squalor mainly due to their poor work ethic. They are no real threat to the west. Now if you consider the inroads they have made due to foolish liberal policies then you could say they are in a better position to do us harm as evidenced by all the attacks and attempted attacks across western countries over the last 30 years or so.

Geez. And when I call out this statement as complete BS stereotyping, bigotry that it is, then I get accused of being in the wrong.
If this is true, then what is all the hub-bub about? Seems to me that I keep hearing how they are going to destroy our way of life & you are positive that every single one of them wants to destroy us, but now they are no threat to us. Get your story straight.
Truth is that the muslims that hate us are in the minority & are radicals. I have never once said that we don't need to stop this radical group or anything of that nature. What we don't need to do is start saying that no muslims are real americans & no muslims are good people - it makes you look like a fool when you talk this way. There are plenty of muslims that are real americans & tons of muslims that have no interest in harming the US.

Then why all the posts about "The Muslims are coming, The Muslims are coming, The Muslims are coming, they're going to impose Sharia, take away our sausage, and make our women dress in burqas."

Get your story straight.
What isn't straight about it? They are no threat without the aid of liberal ideology is what I said. Since the rosy bliss liberal policies allowing millions of Muslims and other radically different people into the US and other western countries they are now becoming a threat to the western way of life. You say most don't want to live under Islam and I say most do. I guess it boils down to that difference of opinion. /Dalton

Actually, you previously said that every single one of them wanted sharia & were a threat to the US. If you want to change from "all" to "most", then I can accept that. Now we are arguing to what degree we have a problem, rather than arguing that all muslims are bad. And you are correct, there we just have a difference of opinion. I believe only a few are out to get us, while you believe most are out to get us.
