Just an fyi, getting to downtown Disney is its own special kind of hell right now and for the next year or so. I don't think the Disney buses have a secret way, so be prepared to have a long journey. More so at night, even more on weekends. Personally I'd find my way to port Orleans or old key west and take the boat to downtown Disney.

The kids are excited about using the Monorail too. What can I say? It doesn't take a whole lot to entertain them some days.

We took the boat from Port Orleans Riverside (which is where we were staying anyway) and it was a nice ride - got to see PO French Quarter and Saratoga Springs on the way. There's a huge dinosaur restaurant in Downtown Disney, I think. Your son might like that.

We ended up opting for Sanaa because the planner estimated 4 hours for the T Rex restaurant, including travel time. Vs. 2+ for Sanaa, including travel time. We've got 2 nights where we're on our own for dinner. So we may end up there anyway. We'll see.

You don't want to know how many kids have a blast on the tram from the parking lot. I've seen little kids throw a tantrum for having to get off the ride and have chatted with parents that were on their third loop. Lol. The monorail is fun. It's too bad they won't let people ride up front anymore. They might get a kick taking the resort monorail that stops at contemporary, Polynesian, and grand Floridian.

And I apologize for hijacking your thread mikosmommy You're fine! I'm still learning things! I doubt I'll do downtown disney. I do want to do all the parks so I hope a week is enough. I don;t know anymore what rides to do though. I'm hoping to get contacts before I go. Glasses are no fun on most rides. Can't really see without them and miss some things when I have to remove them.

Beth - There are a few grocery delivery services like that. Garden Grocers is a big one, and I can't remember the other one.
There are also companies, which you probably don't need any more, that will rent you whatever you need for your kids - high chairs, strollers, pack and plays, etc.
I know it is almost time for your trip, but you should check out disboards. It is a great resources for all things Disney-related.

My boss used to ship UPS to the hotel he was staying at all kinds of things - juice boxes, snacks, boxes of cereal, etc. Anything that would take up a lot of room in his luggage, or cost more at the hotel. You just have to address it Attn: Guest John Doe. Although, he was getting a huge discount on the price of the shipping, so I'm not sure if this would work for you.

Our trip was not the best. I've posted chunks of it on that Thank YOu thread I've got going. I'm fairly sure we're the odd ones out in that we overall had a not good trip to WDW.
I'm not holding anything back on Disney's survey either. Although it would be nice if the "save and resume later" actually SAVED text in the text box...
