Curried Pork Sate The original is this from William-Sonoma Grilling: 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup dry red or white wine 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons curry powder 1/2-1 teaspoon pepper flakes 2 1/2 pounds boneless pork, cut in 1 1/2 cubes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I never follow a recipe exactly. I usually use the soy sauce and vegetable oil along with red or white vinegar. I'm not that fond of the red pepper flakes so I use 4 teaspoons of curry instead. It's great on the grill but makes a mess on the stove, hence the baking in the oven, covered by the rice.
