From the earnings beat MRQ with recent upward revisions screen. Same pick as last week.

Might be pushing my luck this week, another airline pick

will go with JBLU  JetBlue Airways inc.

I will go long on this one, based on low fuel costs to flow to the bottom line.

Their chart is all over the board, so I might be wrong.

I thought the symbol was NVTL, but evidently now it is MIFI, so I'm submitting that one

I might have to rethink JBLU this week. With the advertised snowstorm hitting the east coast, airlines may take a hit this week.

Their stock prices usually fall the week of big cancellations.

 Have 45 minutes to think about it.

Value Buy,... re: bad weather ... I flew C-119's for 2.5 years as a reserve pilot at the Minneapolis airport. BRRRRR. We
cancelled flying when it got 20 degrees below zero. I flew to Alaska twice while there ( to warm up, ... LOL ). But most
of my C-119 flying was at Houston; & with trips to Puerto Rico, Bermuda, & Panama. I've dropped many paratroopers.
....everyone have a good week...!!!!
note: The movie "Airport" was filmed at runway 11-29 at Minneapolis. Remember, the plane got stuck in snow.

I am not finding a symbol AKRN for ModE91. I found several such as AKRN.IL but I am not sure what stock he wanted.

uncle23 jumps out to the early lead. architecto51 and damnotagain also are off to good starts. Six of eight are beating the benchmark. I never was able to find the symbol AKRN for ModE91.

On Yahoo I'm coming up with AKRN.IL with the exchange listed as IOB. Also they have AKRN.ME with the exchange listed as MCX. I tried several other sites including TradeKing which is my broker and it turned up nothing. Finviz had nothing. Stockcharts had nothing. CNBC.com had AKRN.GB which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. If I'm missing something please let me know.

I pulled it up a couple of times during the day, got different stuff. Tonight I pulled AKRN on Bigcharts, got $3.52 as open,high,low,last and a weird chart... showed one day huge bump, Dec.9th showed
$32 high; all other days below $4. But their 52 wk. high only shows a high of $4.08
I pulled AKRN up a few minutes ago on Scottrade.  No chart. they gave this comment:  " Did you mean AKRX ?" I checked ADRX, it closed today at $42.26
......Mod,....perhaps it's not even a horse ....

Went with PSX this week, cause I have done ok with it recently & so I could give folks a break from my kicking Apple.

Personally from Our take Apple should not only be going up they should have already gone up quite a bit..

However, analyst putting low price targets on a stock and proclaiming "this is what could kill"; grab attention, and well..

We differ from many in that We think that not only is Apple a good investment for long term, but it is a stellar issue in which to trade in and around.

As to the earnings? Anybody's guess if they beat they have a 50% of crashing after & a 50% chance of skyrocketing after: Then again this is nothing abnormal in regards to any stock after beating earnings..

Conversely, they have about the same odds if they miss, although a miss will probably have them downgraded to garbage by some apple hating knucklehead.

Yes, I'm afraid so, Ombud.  Not double and triple checking what I post...shame on me.  Just hope this is NOT a thing that will be a constant problem.  A slip or two at my age is very normal.  If it becomes a daily thing, it's time for incarceration in a rest home.

My computer is in the shop and I'm posting on an old one we have.  It's not very co-operative at certain sites including this one.  Nothing on it has been up dated in several years so a lot of stuff is being blocked to me.  Mine should be fixed in a day or two!

Yes,... I'm also glad ModE91 is in the race this week. We should all pat Clark on the back for the corrrect decision.
