Thanks Sugipie!
And if some of you haven't figure it out yet TV is pretty much my only entertainment besides the message boards. And the only entertainment I spend money on so I don't begrudge myself DVD's of shows I love to have forever. I can get a full season of a comedy show for the same amount of money it would cost me to go and see a movie once. I stopped watching movies about 10 years ago, just lost interest. They don't make movies like they used to.

When I get the new TV, I'll get more speciality channels. Right now my 2003 TV can't handle the new channels. I'll have to get a new PVR as well.

Thrift stores that will sell old electronics can be your friend for decades old stuff. I still see VCRs there now and then. But DVDs still play on lots of stuff.

I have a portable DVD player from Sony, got it to watch movies down at the hospital when I do treatment. Plus you can play regular CDs in a DVD or BluRay Player.

I have a handful of shows on DVD. They are good for when the cable goes out.

I wish TV was better and there were less "reality" shows. And Charlie Sheen needs to come back to Two and a Half Men! They can't possibly discontinue that show! Even while jumping the shark it's better than most crap out there.

I like The Good Wife, Stalker, and Blue Bloods. I loved watching all the seasons of Breaking Bad on Netflix. My daughter just recommended Killers, which we might start this weekend. Has anyone seen it?

Why oh, why would you say that? Charlie Sheen is a train-wreck - on a track that's doomed to de-rail - he's so messed up from whatever he's smoking he's beyond crazy.
But I have to admit, he's still 100% better than that boy-child pseudo-actor Kutcher - can't stand that guy in anything he's been in - he's so bad it's pathetic.
The best thing about 2 1/2 Men is Berta - she's classic! And of course the psycho stalker-chick Rose.
Evelyn the mother makes the show work, IMO - she brings so much to the show.

So I am looking forward to the remake of The Odd Couple with Matthew Perry! Debuts Feb 19th. I just love him (he was my favorite Friend ) and I do hope he has finally found a hit show. He hasn't had much luck with finding a good new show, although I did kind of like Go On. The Odd Couple is one of my all time favorite shows.
I have also been seeing ads for the new show Battle Creek and it looks pretty good so I think I will try that one too. Debuts March 1st.
Anyone else?

I'm going to watch Battle Creek also. I think they said the same producers as House and Breaking Bad. And I think it starts Feb 8...Better Call Saul, which is a BB spinoff.

Anyone else? I liked Go On, just couldn't recall when it was on. My DH didn't even know The Odd Couple was a remake, we'll be watching to see how Chandler does this time. Haven't noticed ads for Battle Creek.

March 1 Battle Creek, which comes from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, will debut on Sunday, March 1 at 109c. Josh Duhamel and Dean Winters star as two cops who couldn't be more different but are forced to work together.

The original Odd Couple series is a classic, and one I'll stop and watch when channel surfing. I don't usually think much of remakes like this; ie The New Munsters, Ironside (2013), the Dallas remake (I actually had high hopes for that one, but it seemed like they were squeezing in too much too quickly). However, maybe this Odd Couple has a chance. I think Matthew Perry is a bit underrated at times, and Thomas Lennon was a scream on Reno 911. I think he could really do Felix justice this time out.

The original is almost always the best. I did watch the Dallas remake and was very disappointed when TNT cancelled it. Of course it wasn't as good as the original but it did have it's merits. It was fun to see a lot of the original stars reprise their roles.

]LOL! Don't stick that tongue out at me. I didn't write that crap! But Berta and Evelyn get decent lines the few times we get to see them. And that's better than the other crap on TV. I have to admit that Berta and Evelyn made the show, along with psyhco-stalker Rose. I think between the 4 of them they made the show.
I loved how Charlie humiliated "Allen" every chance he got - Allen is such a pu$$y-whipped pansy! and Charlie and Berta could really stick it to him with their come-backs.
I can't stand Kutcher - he's a lousy actor and brings nothing to the show. I'd love to see Charlie return, but I feel he's burned his bridges..

I will post these every week or every other week when TV Guide does a double issued cause when they do that they only include one week of ratings. Oh and if you didn't guess the ones with the thumbs up next to them are the shows I watch.
