Will The Republican Party Be Gone In 3 Generations? Brilliant in its simplicity! A. Back off and let Billy Bob marry his farm animals. B. Back off and let Mr. Wall Street Fatcat marry his money C. Back off and allow guns in bars D. Cut our defense budget and put it into education E. In three generations, there will be no Republicans

Reporting from Washington — It has never been easy here to sit at the political center. And now it just became a little lonelier. The demise of the Democratic Leadership Council, a symbol of centrism for more than a quarter of a century, has been viewed by some as an acknowledgment that Democrats, coming off an election-year rout, have lost their compass too. Re: Will The Democratic Party Be Gone In 3 Generations??Read more: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=politics&thread=4336&page=2#ixzz1FpcZ1tCEAns: It might be gone before then....High Unemployment numbers tends to have that effect on the party whose leader is in the White House surrounded by advisors who only tell him what he wants to hear about the economy or simply put just spin and hype judging by what he reads off his Telepromers..

www.intellectualconservative.com/2011/02/05/the-fickle-american-voter-which-is-dead-liberalism-or-conservatism/ is an article about the swings in voter sentiment over the years. If history has anything to tell us it is that styles and sentiments swing over the years and Republicans do well for a while then Democrats do well for a time. Conservatives do well for a while then liberals do well for a while, but, generally US history shows a gradual drift toward the Left which swings back to the Right never entirely correct. Entitlements may be modified, reduced or renamed, but entitlements never go away. So the Left gets a little now and a little then, but the entitlements remain so that when the Left regains power, it just adds to the last set of entitlements. I suspect that it would require a financial collapse like 1970's Great Britain to cause a real reversal of the trend to more socialism. Unfortunately the US, having currently the world's reserve currency, is in a much riskier position and the solution will be even more painful than that which GB experienced.

Brilliant in its simplicity! A. Back off and let those men who want to marry men, marry men. B. Allow those women who want to marry women, marry women. C. Allow those folks who want to abort their babies, abort their babies. D. In three generations, there will be no Democrats. But you see this is why they keep giving democrat welfare mothers moremoeny for each child - so they will keep having more children to make up for the above groups...

I read the USA article-it mentions nothing about Hillary Clinton wanting ex-felons to get voting rights so they can become future democrats as pbp claimed.
And yes Fox and O'Reilly (and one woman's personal opinion) are not good enough for me.
File this with the Grassy Knoll and the controlled demolition of the North Tower, South Tower and 7 World Trade Center conspiracy theories.

I've already posted a link debunking the McVeigh as an atheist line. He flip-flopped like a leaf in the wind. During some interviews he was an atheist, during others he was a God-believing Christian. It just depended on his mood at the time ... or, perhaps, his agenda. Here's the link, again ... www.time.com/time/reports/mcveigh/interview/interview2.html

Be a dear and look and see who got a shellacking in 2006 and 2008. Oh, and why don't you give us all those wonderful HoR accomplishments since January? Do any of them have anything to with "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!"? Sorry, at this point, I don't see the Republicans sitting pretty-- in fact kinda the opposite. It's 2011, and anyone not looking at the Republican party for partial responsibility in things are just hypocrites. Se above. High unemployment numbers tend to have that effect on a party who wants to see said leader fail even if that means throwing Americans under the bus to have said thing happen. Hey, let's have more hot button legislation that almost always goes nowhere. That's a real economy fixer-upper! Oh, and why no announcements of a Republican candidate for President? At this time in 2007 Obama and McCain already did. What are they afraid of? "Republicans admit Barack Obama will be hard to beat" www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/republicans/8355285/Republicans-admit-Barack-Obama-will-be-hard-to-beat.htmlRepublicans, come out to play-i-ay... [insert Warriors Jpeg here] Just like if Republicans are content with Boehner, Romney, Gingrich, Palin, Bachmann, [insert V.P. candidates here when they become available here], then "gooder" luck, you'll really, really need it. Sorry they're all gay or have abortions. You'll have to go to Welovetosendspame-mailsofstereotypes.com and tell them to fix it.

Thanks for the link. I see Amazon ranks it as #653,533 in its most often sold books. And Tango Makes Three is ranked #29,361. So what's your point?

In all my years as a nurse, and nurse practitioner, I've met two women who actually wanted to abort their unborn children. Both were suffering from emotional/mental illness. Extenuating circumstances can bring about difficult decisions. One must make the choice deemed best at the time, and nobody else can make that choice as the only one who really knows the full details is the woman faced with deciding. I know one, a very good friend..just divorced, went to the Islands for a vacation, met some one, yep, found out she was pegnant, had three kids at home, newly divorced just having to go back to work, had a abortion. I'm to criticize? Give me a break.

lol vonnie... education level and liberalism are highly correlated... don't you know? .... What do you expect when the higher education institutions are almost entirely dominated by liberal instructors who push the liberal agenda on their students?

That there is information out there for you to research the topic yourself instead of focusing on the books rankings or simply dismissing an interview on a major network. Speaking of points, using book rankings for yours?? I didn't miss it, I can just do math and connect the dots. Blacks out number whites by a ratio of 7 to 1 in prison: www.prisonpolicy.org/graphs/malesinc.html90% of blacks vote Democrat. But, you're probably right, there is no ulterior motive there. [/size]

Much more likely the party based on lies, fear mongering, ignorance, will fade in the information age. ;D

Oh yah, I gotta tell ya.. I actually paid 40k specifically to have that liberal agenda SHOVED down my throat! I kept telling them, "Give me my money's worth, you liberal bastards! Feed me more socialism and communism, feed me the truth about how AWESOME Stalin and Mussolini were!" Those 4 years would have been wasted without all that. Wasted! Dumbasses.
