Thanks everyone. The china is stored in high cabinets that I can't even reach, so I think I will just leave it up there and give it to DS in 10-15 years. stepladder?

CarolinaKat - the kid is even shorter than I am! He may be a 6th grader but he is the height of a 4th grader and the weight of a 2nd or 3rd grader.
We shall just leave it up there for now as there is the possibility of putting this house up for sale soon.

T-dog, you inspired me to put my own request in to sell some of the Corelle Calloway (ivy). Although it is our everyday pattern, there is a ton of it on the upper shelves that we never use and will never use . . . mixing bowl set, cream/sugar, salt/pepper, pitcher, trivet, mugs, etc.
There are five PAGES devoted to this pattern on Replacements, Ltd., but only about the first two are actual pieces they have for sale. The rest lists pieces that were made for this pattern that they don't have but will look for if you would like.
If I can get $50 after shipping, I will sell these pieces. If I can't, I won't. I picked most of it up at garage sales and the thrift store.
That still leaves me about 20 plates, more than a dozen bowls, more than a dozen salad plates, serving bowls, the gravy boat, and the platter. These, plus the glasses, are pieces we use every day. The stuff I am offering to sell are just clutter. We have clear mixing bowls, etc.
Wish me luck!

Wish me luck! Just keep in mind if they have a ton of your pattern they may not be buying any more. This happened with a friend when I checked for her. Mine had been discontinued for 20+ yrs when I sold my Lennox china to them and they didn't have much on their site for sale. I also sold my crystal and sterling silverware to them. I did my own packing and didn't let UPS pack for me which they will do at their stores.

But as I said, they had 3 pages of stuff they don't have in stock. Some of what I have qualifies.
