I also feel sorry for guys named Dick. I'd feel more sorry for his son "little" Dick In that case he should just go by little Richard and Whoo-aah Good Golly Miss Molly

People have been fired for using words like nig gardly. In fact I even had a post deleted and got a 25% warning bar on this forum for using the word nig gardly in a post. You have to be careful what you say to people these days. Seriously?? And what is a warning bar? When you are bad too often you get a waring bar and if it gets to 100 you get fed to the pigs.

Someone in my company used the word n i g g a r d l y (which is isn't at all related to the N word, its apparently related to a Norse word) and got in trouble for it because people thought it was a racist comment. I also got a weird look talking about my Maine Coon cat. This is a breed of cat people - seriously. Named that way because it can resemble a raccoon. I had to do a google search and provide proof. I think I'll write a letter to Crackerbarrel and complain. In Canada, "coon" always refers to a raccoon. You could say "I saw a dead coon by the road" and nobody would bat an eyelash.

I remember when Archie used the word ni**ardly in a post. I wasn't sure what point he was trying to make, but at least I looked up the definition of the word before I asked him about it. His post made a point that was relevant to the thread, I just didn't "get it" until after I'd responded. The thread was about people misusing words that sound similar to each other, like thespian/lesbian. Or something like that.

I just now came across this "There were looks exchanged. Jacob felt a niggle of trepidation. Hunter, Sable (2011-10-26). Her Magic Touch (Hell Yeah! Book 3) (p. 58). Beau Coup Publishing. Kindle Edition. in a trashy novel.
