GOP factionalism and another possible shutdown?

In all fairness a CR is intended to continue everything "as-is", and Obama wanted to add something (arming the Syrians) to the cost of running the government. I agree with them NOT just rubber-stamping it with that addition.

This piece is EXTREMELY slanted to intentionally shine a bad light on the GOP (not that bad lights need help shining on them... they shine them on themselves quite often).

I also don't know how seriously I can take a "report" that can't spell "emergency"

I don't know what happened, not sure if when I clicked on the link there was content

to be read.

I ended up with a pop up to win a dinner with President Obama supposedly

sponsored by the DNC. Airfare and accomadations seem to be included, so

maybe some lucky P&M poster can join & meet me in the event I win.

I did not contribute in part because it would  be financially unwise at this point.

Maybe though I'll have a FT job by the time Hillary announces one way or the other.

I am a 'leftie' and the 50s were darn right horrible and fake if you were not a white Protestant. And even for some white protestants it was horrible and fake.

Well... I didn't stop reading. I was honestly curious about just how far up their "nether regions" their heads were.

The whole thing turned out to be nothing more than biased tripe.

It's about as accurate as someone saying "Gravity doesn't work... because I can pick up this pebble" {picture someone picking up a pebble as they say that}
