They are just itching for a fight, aren't they? Makes me nervous. And how terrible for these families to have their loved ones killed in such a horrific way and then the video released to the world

I read that they do these horrific "murders"to freighten their opponents and intimadate them...As far as the killing of POW's..troops who are captured in battles, I was thinking that if I was in a situation where I was fighting against them, these murders of those captured would make me never think of surrendering but fight against them that much harder..
This happened In the second WW during the battle of the Bulge...over 80,000 Americans died there..largest casualties of the war for US troops and the war was almost at the end but the murder of captured USA troops and their discovery hardened US troops against the Germans..
Naturally those in charge of my unit would have to also give me the support, training and equipeemnt to allow me to over come these IS folks and for a while , because of party politics..Iraq, Malicki..this was not the case but now with new leadership possible that might change..

I believe there is only one thing these animals understand, and it's violence beyond whatever they have imagined possible. They need to be bombed and driven back to the stone age where they came from. In fact, a small well placed nuke just might take care of them.
Not another journalist, soldier, airman, not one more!!!!! Enough lives have been given to fight this cretin enemy while our brave young men and women have been told to fight with one hand behind their backs. Just like Viet Nam, and just like Korea.
We've got the skill and the incredible power, let's use it! If they want to fight, let's give them a fight.

It's not going over there to fight. They are too scattered. Some are gathering in Juarez now, and I read an article earlier saying there was a threat to the US power grid made just a few days ago. DH was reading me an article a while back showing pics they had taken in front of US landmarks saying that they were here and to expect something to happen.

They don't want to fight us. In fact the barbaric executioner said for us to leave them alone. With only a little air bombing we sent them back to Syria. The UK and France are ready to hit them there. I'm hoping for action from NATO as the president is going there now. They thrive on terror and fear. No negotiating with them.

... a small well placed nuke ... And where might that place be? Who knows where to put it. It just makes me so angry and sad to see us once again look like fools with leadership who doesn't have a clue of what to do. If our leaders during WWI and WW2 would have been like this, we'd all be speaking a different language by now. How many more of our brave young men and women have to die before something is actually accomplished?
I live with the results of Viet Nam every day. I see the disease and injuries, I see someone I've loved for over 50 years dying from the inside out. We go to the local VAMC, and I see young men with no legs or no arms. I see them with their small child sitting on their lap in a wheel chair. The men of the Greatest Generation......who could believe they are the warriors that saved our country. They are now small, bent over, wheel chair bound.....If we can't or won't fight to win, we've lost everything.

... a small well placed nuke ...And where might that place be? Say all these cretins were gathered and fighting in the Houston/New Orleans Metro areas. Would we believe it is acceptable to nuke them in Houston and New Orleans areas, in our own country, on our own territory? Would it be any more acceptable for the U.S. to nuke these cretins within another country's territory? All nukes should be dismantled, if just for the highlighted mind set alone.

I'm assuming you mean Congress. They can't decide on anything and complain when the White House does something without asking them. Like the recent bombings in Iraq which sent ISIL running back to Syria. Or our black ops operation in Syria to get the reporters, although they weren't there. We aren't afraid of Asad, just between a rock and a hard place taking out ISIL and helping him. I say take out ISIL now and deal with Asad later. Some NATO countries are onboard. They have more to lose then us.

If you had gone to the VAMC in the forties, you would have seen young men with no legs or no arms with their small child sitting on their laps. The price of war has not changed.

FWIW
Make a video of all ammo used in that area being dipped in pork grease and send it to them. Then go after all these pockets of insanity with the greasy ammo.
I feel so bad for the families of the people being held against their will.

Not really. The bacon they can throw away/bury without touching it. When they get hit by greasy ammo it disrupts their trip to Allah-land.

Ever think the assholes in charge of this are just a bunch of psychopaths that can blame their actions on some religious fable?

You could send in an army of dogs and pigs. That'll take care of the zealots; however, it won't reduce the numbers of sociopaths for whom this has absolutely nothing to do with religion, or beliefs ... other than killing is fun. I guess that's a sort of belief ...

Vietnam, Iraq, and not to mention the funding and weapons deals we are involved in. There is a reason they want to chop off the heads of Americans- because we fuck with everyone and get involved in everything- the only thing we don't seem to worry about is our own people and how we are doing.
But still I add this- as an ardent death penalty opponent- that only applies to my lack of faith in our judicial system- I do think some people deserve it- and if these masked shitbags were able to be positively identified I would have no problem filleting their ass slowly. I am on the get tough side even if that is what they want- the world needs to make an example of these subhuman oxygen thieves.
