Great vehicle, POM! But just remember, if you get a vehicle with a "blade", you have to pay extra insurance for it. But if you use it to clear parking lots and get paid you may profit - or at least break even!

I have heard that an address in Tahiti or Fiji eliminates the need to consider a snow factor when buying a vehicle

We don't have one anymore, but used to, but I don't think it was anything we even told the insurance guy. It had a quick attach set-up and took like 5 minutes to put on and take off, so 90% of the time it was without.

Like the other posters said, good tires and FWD or AWD.
I live in the Chicago area and drove a Hyundai Sonata for over a dozen years, handled like a dream. I now drive a Malibu which still does fine, but man the Sonata handled nasty weather well!

I've got a relative who has one, & he only uses it to clear his own driveway, & occasionally helps friends. He's never turned it into a side business, but he still has to insure it. Apparently, it's some sort of hazard.
