What fictional character would you vote for if they could run for President in 2016?
I'm going with Jack Bauer or Jason Bourne. I want someone with high integrity, intelligence, and the ability to kick ass.

#1 Harry Pearce, MI-5 Section Chief (Spooks)
#2 Jack Bauer is high on my list too!
#3 I liked the actor that played President David Palmer on 24 also, so I'd pick him.
#4 Mycroft Holmes from Sherlock. He can run the British Empire, so I'll give him a crack at the US.
1 & 4 I am pretending that they are fictionally US Born, but they need to keep their accents!

Alcide (True Blood werewolf) and he can preside over me any day. And Eric can be VP.
Thank you in advance.

I will have to think on this one, but what a really neat question! You put some thought into this one.

Walt Longmire for President
His deputy Branch can be vice president especially if he works with his shirt off!

I would totally vote for Jon-Luc Picard.
Tony Stark (Iron Man) Karrin Murphy (Dresden Files) Claire Huxtable (Cosby Show) Trick (Lost Girl) Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)

Well this is not quite what OP asked for, but my vote goes to two guys who played President and did a great job :
Morgan Freeman (Deep Impact) or
Bill Pullman (Independence Day)
Oh, oh ETA, I thought of one more!
Kevin Kline (Dave)

What about the ladies? I'd vote for Laura Roslin from Battlestar Galactica.

Al Bundy... at least we would know what we were getting. Maybe Miranda Veracruz de la Jolla Cardinale could be his press secretary

Batman. From the animated series, not the movies.
Because he's Batman.

Matt Dillon- he would just shoot anyone that got in his way
Palladin......he is just one bad dude
The Lone Ranger, he wears the white hat and shoots silver bullets
for you youngsters you'll have to watch the Western Channel to find out who these guys are.

Dave for President!! (From the movie Dave with Kevin Kline). I want a President who truly cares about the people, wants to put them to work to help themselves and give them dignity, and wants to cut the assinine crap from the budget to fund the things that actually matter!

I vote we set up a triumvirate like the Romans of old. Does only one fearless leader even work any more? We need "Larry", "Moe", and "Curley Joe"' with some back up appearances by "Shemp".... And Marcel Marseau for "Speaker" Of the House! Buster Keaton to run the Senate. The Keystone Cops for Homeland Security.
