It was a thing of beauty when WAGs had RRs AND their ESR program. You could use the RRs to buy ESR items and use the ESR money to buy RR items. You never had to spend a penny of your own money - not for fillers and not for sales tax cuz you could have your rebate put on a WAGs card (with a 10% bonus!!). Ah, the WAGs game was soooo much fun in those days. ESRs have been gone for about 2 years now.

Yes, with that WAGs gift card, I didn't even have to worry abt no. of items having to be less or equal to the no. of MQs and RRs. And no expiration date! Those were the good ole days, huh?

Yeah, but her $4 RR from the Reach was pure profit. They were 0 oop, so, there wasn't any cost going into receiving that $4 RR...

constanz: Yep, that's right too!! I had to pay for sales tax and a filler for (2) of the $4RRs and only sales tax for the other (3) $4RRs so there was a little OOP, but very minimal.

I got/earned $2 at Tops Market today!! So I signed up for the you rewards at tops to get a catalina for $2 after my first purchase (and it had to be within 2 days of signing up). Went in this afternoon and no catinlina. The manager came over and told the cashier to give me $2 because their machines were not set up properly. Oh, and I was buying a $1 carton of eggs and using a giftcard I got from my employer so no OOP.

I went to CVS this morning:

I bought: 4 bottles of Axe @$4.50=$18.00
Minus $3.00 off of Axe CRT, -$4.50 BOGO, -$4.50 BOGO,
=$6.00 balance.

Phys Formula $9.99 minus $3.00 peelie =$6.99 balance

Skintimate $3.49 minus .55 cents MQ, = $2.94 balance

2 Colgates $2.75 each = $5.50, minus 2 MQ's @ $1.50 each, = $2.50 balance for the two Colgates.

Grand total: $6.00 OOP (AXE) + $6.99 (PF), + $2.94 Skintimate, + $2.50 Colgates = $18.43 minus $5.00 off of $15.00 CRT = $13.43

Paid the $13.43 with $13.00 in EB's.
Cleared out the 43 cents OOP plus tax with my Gift Card.

I received: $4.00 EB for the Colgate, $2.50 for the Skintimate, $5.00 for the AXE, and $7.00 for the PHysicians Formula (total EB's in return: $18.50).

Here is a case where I paid $13.43 in EB's, but then I received $18.50 in EB's.
I am sure the tax "killed" me, LOL.
I just like getting all of the stuff.
I need to find a few of the TMF stickers. None of my products had them, but they used to be there.
Maybe the Menehune (Hawaiian leprechans) took them, LOL.

If I can find a few, each Physicians Formula will receive a $9.99 refund check.

Not bad at CVS this week.

I also found some hair dyes and Pantene for really cheap (75%) off.
There are MQ's to "sweeten" the deep discounts.

Yep, I used the PF PDF that was for "eye booster or any other PF." I used it at Fred Meyers FOR the eye booster. So, no beeps or problems.

But, I printed out some more to use for next week's sale at RA. We will see if it beeps when I use it for another product besides the eye booster. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone tries it this week (CVS?)

leanna: I don't THINK it will beep. As I recall from past experience, their coupons have been pretty generic in that they all seem to work on any product.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA CONCEALERS AT CVS

These are under $7 and SHOULD give the RR since they are not on clearance (the only exclusion given in the ad). If you've already done the rebates on the mascara and eye serum, this would be a great alternative and still a MM with the coupon.

dancin - i gave that note to leanna before i looked at my local ad. i went off the iheartcvs site to see that her skintimate is marked as $3.19 - $2.50 EB. but my local ad was $3.49. i still wanted to use the mq at CVS because i prefer EBs, but the mq's beeped & the cashier said he couldn't even force it through. i said "they must be coded weird," canceled the transaction & left without a thing. i want the skintimate & prefer to get it at CVS but if the mq is screwy i'll just have to try with my friend at WAGS.

suzi - did you have any probs with the skintimate q?

Not sure if this was your problem, but be careful that you select the 7 oz can. I grabbed a can that was 10 oz lined up with the rest of them and the coupon beeped. Ran back and switched it for a 7 oz. They all looked the same to me and all had the EB tags.

I did this deal at WAGS today twice. My Q's were $.55/1 but totally AWESOME was the bonus disposable razor that was included on the Skintimate cans. My Edge Q's all beeped and had to be manually entered by the clerk - however the Skintimate Q's went through fine.
