At Rite Aid: I bought 12 Mentos for free. They are 2/$1.00 and there is a coupon for 50 cents in the 2/6 SS. It was from a little "throw away" paper delivered to the neighborhood with very few coupons in the flyer. I also bought the Thermacare and Colgate. I used a few UPS with 3/5 expiration dates. The Comtrex and Keri lotion is for 3/6. They are giving SCR's suzi: Does your ad show the sales prices for the Comtrex and/or Keri lotion?

Like I previously mentioned, I need help getting better at this. I remembered to bring my receipts with me today so I could get some advice.
Trip #1 CVS 3 boxes Tide @ $5.94 each - 3 CPNS ($1.70) 1 Dawn Ultra @ $.94 - $.25 CPN 2 Boxes Clairol Hair Color @$5.99 each - 2 $2.00 CPN ($4.00) 1 Revlon Photoready make up @$9.99 - $3.00 CPN
Subtotal: $40.73 + tax - Cpns <$8.95> Total cost: $35.14
I got $12 in EB's
Trip #2 CVS 4 boxes Swiffer products @$3.99 each 1 Gil Fusion Razor $9.99 each Subtotal: $25.95 + tax I had two BOGOF coupons for the Swiffer and a $5.00 CPN for the razor. Used $12 EBs Total OOP 3.11 Got $4 EB's
I just don't feel like I am doing the best deals. I will use the Swiffer products. I have one more BOGOF coupon so I will probably go in tomorrow and get 2 more. I don't think I should use my EB's because I think I would need a filler since the cost before tax would be $3.99 and also I wouldn't be getting an EB's back.

I wonder if the po-po would take RRs for bail??? I missed all the fun. i had a laugh this morning though reading you crazy hounds talk ;D PT. I agree your OOP seems like alot. I haven't dropped $40 in a store for awhile. But your were buying expensive things, i have been doing this 2 years now and get cheaper by the day LOL. You don't need a filler in CVS, go ahead and use the ecb's! Keep at it though. SO many gals on here can help with your oop maybe you could post before you go? Mizbear, PM me if u need a few of the philly MQ's I have only hounded once this week. I need to get out today,RA is gonna get a visit. I need the Gain, i want the tiny bottle X3 fingers crossed its in stock. I read on another board that the sardines will be 29cents as its a monthly 1UP. Some people are using them as cat treats!! I use to like the ones in Tomato sauce and 29c has to be rock bottom price.

I just looked at next week's CVS ad. There really isn't anything there that I am interested in. Thanks hopetoberich for the info on not needing a filler. I think I will just go get 2 more swiffer products with my bogof Q and use up the EB.
Things I am looking to stockpile - I have access to CVS, Wags and Walmart. I will keep checking for hound alerts, but someone let me know if they see something good on these items. - TP (Northern or Angel Soft) - Laundry Soap (Any brand) - Diswasher Soap (Any brand) - Paper Towels (Any quality brand) - Shampoo/Conditioner
If you happen to have any Iams pet food Q's Raley's grocery store has spend $30 get $10 back. I couldn't find any Iams coupons online.

Well hounds, I leave for Florida in a few hours and I probably won't have access to the boards while I'm gone. Everyone take care...will catch up when I get back! Happy hounding! Is it crazy that I am super excited I'll be there on Sunday to be able to buy "good" newspapers that have awesome Q's??!! LOL

WalMart Coupon Policy Wow...I just printed it through Wildforwags.
Even more exciting, which nobody has seemed to notice or mention yet is this statement!
"Coupons MAY EXCEED the price of the item. Change MAY be given OR APPLIED TOWARD THE COST OF THE BASKET PURCHASE" Holy overage!!!
I can see many more WM trips in my future (although I hate WM!)

There were some in the 2/27 PG insert.

Mercee Did you sign up for the Target cc/debit card? It gives 5% off if you use it for purchases there.
I had a cashier at Walgreens forget to give me my receipt earlier this week so I got $5. Think I will save it for a manicure next a month.
I got one of those monthly discount coupons in the mail from Kohl’s on Fri. I have not been there in months because the coupons have been minimal – 15%. This one is 30%. I had planned on hitting up my local Kohl’s and the one near my Dad. However, in my email this am there was a $10 on ANY purchase coupon at the store near my old office AND the dates overlap. I read the fine print and it CAN be combined. Normally I would not drive to that store BUT for $10 you bet I will. If I do not find anything for me I am sure I can find something for a grandkid.
To make it even better, there is a Target in the same shopping center and there are a couple things I want there.

Mizbear: Even dancinmama or frugalsuz don't have that many RR saved up! HA! This totally cracked me up! Think they'd take a $5 off $25 coupon too?? (this smiley cracked me up all over again! Its called "muhaha" hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha) I'm heading out to RA in a bit to check for free dryer sheets. I haven't been reading the Slick Deals thread for this week at all, so I almost missed it. The RA brand dryer sheets are on sale for $1.99 with a $1 UP. But....some of them are ringing up as $0.99 making them free! Erica on iheartriteaid got the 80 ct ones for $0.99.

Hey- considering some of the people they release on their own recog, why not take a few Qs??? At least we are reliable. hope- Thanks for the offer on the philly Qs, but I promised myself I was going to be very super frugal with my shopping the next few months. I am trying to teach my nieces (and a few others) a lesson about pushing my budget buttons.

Someone asked about the 'cooking' Philly cream cheese. It's really good. I got a case of eight flavors of it a couple of months ago for FREE ;D (now why don't I get the smileys on my posts?) The case was sent to me after I joined "Women of Philadelphia" online, which I did to try and get $$$ for a recipe. No $$$, but free cooking cream cheese - excellent dips, in sauces, for other cooking. I also got FREE Tide detergent last year when they were test-marketing it. FREE is good, FREE is fun. Ah, I did get the smiley after all!

COUPON QUESTION:
This Sunday I plan to buy Colgate TP at RA. There's a $1 off coupon from the Wags Diabetes/Heart book that I plan to use on it. However, I recently tried to purchase a Colgate at RA using a $1 catalina coupon I had gotten from Wags. It wouldn't go through.
I think it must have something to do with the second bar coding set on the coupon, but I have no idea how to decode that. The iheartriteaid site lists this $1 coupon from the Diabetes/Heart book, so I'm hoping it'll go through, but I sure would like to know if it will before I do my purchase.
I'm only trying to do this deal so that I can get my next $10 heart healthy +up from RA.
Thoughts?

Why on earth are they giving the rebate item sales prices to every region of the US except the west? I was hoping to burn a lot of my UPs on SCR items.

CA RITE AID SHOPPERSHere is a way to roll all those snacks UPs for free (cuz we have no sales tax on food) before they expire on 3/15. 3/13 RA ad: $15.00 (10) Bumble Bee solid white tuna (5 oz.) - 15.00 (15) snack ups 0 OOP --> (10) $1 UPs (monthly food deal) and (1) $5 UP (weekly deal) The $1 food UPs won't expire until some time in mid-April and the $5 UP won't expire until 4/2 (I think). LIMIT: 2 HTH

I have never tried to use a catalina at RA, so I can't speak to that. The Colgate coupon from the Diabetes and You booklet should go through. It is a regular manufacturer's coupon. It does say that it is redeemable at Walgreens, but it does not say "Redeemable ONLY at Walgreens" which means that it can be used anywhere. I don't think that you'll have any problems with it. I will go onto HCW and double check to see if anyone in Southern CA has been having a problem using it (their RA ad broke yesterday) and will post problems (if any). EDIT: Well, HCW didn't have any posts from anyone who has done the Colgate deal in So CA. They also don't have any posts from anyone complaining about the fact that CA did not get the sales prices on the SCR items which is rare. I really don't think you're going to have any problems with the D&Y Colgate Q though.

We still don't get any of the air freshener and cleaning deals that is advertised elsewhere. Not sure why, but maybe we should start complaining at least about the SCR.

Thanks Dancinmama and Constanz for your replies. I feel relieved! I figured maybe the only reason I had a problem previously was because it was a catalina. But it got me a little wary, because I have a transaction total worked out that will allow me to use the $3/$15 from doing a survey. You all know how annoying it is when you've got a scenario worked out that doesn't!

Someone was asking about dish liquid: CVS was running Dawn at $.74 after P&G 20c coupon. The sale runs until tonight.

I shopped at Meijer today and did okay..lt was kind of fun. They have their buy 10 at $1.00 and get the 11th free, mix and match. Since I was out of treats for my girl, I had fun with the recent Beggin Strips/Busy Bone coupon while shopping their sale.
Bought 2 Beggin Strips @ $2.04 each, used 2 $1.00 any Beggin Strips AND the buy any Beggin Strips and get a package of Busy Bones free. Two different coupons... So, for $2.08 I got 2 packages of Busy Bones and 2 packages of Beggin Strips. Not bad. I was surprised I was able to stack two manufacturers coupons. Don't know if my favorite cashier was just making me happy or what?
Bought 2 Bar S products @ $1.00 each (one hot dog, one bologna), used a $1.00 off two coupon. $.50 for hot dogs $.50 for bologna...okay I can do that. Got Six Green Giant frozen veggies, used two $.60 off three coupons. (didn't see until now the $.50 off one IP...oops..) We were low on frozen veggies, so $4.80 for six wasn't bad. I added a couple fruit cups at $1.00 each and netted a free Canine Carry Out (in the $1.00) free.
Also picked up free 20 ct Advil. Had a Catalina that was going to expire for a free one...
Like I said, it was fun no pressure shopping and my girl is stocked up on some treats.
