VB......Yes, Have never shorted in my accounts.  Just not "natural" to me, although I know it's a common investment strategy for a lot of investors in the market.  Of course, now I'm in buy and hold REIT & BDC very high dividend plays, 10% yield or higher.  Currently averaging 11.4% on holdings.  At 91, just interested in income.

The markets were a mix last week, but off to a good start for the month of June, when you consider everyone talks about sell in May and go away, and June is the June swoon month.
