I used to have a crazy neighbor who I gave rides fairly often, because her car was repossessed. I took her to Walmart pharmacy once, when vaping was a new thing. She sat there doing it the pharmacy, daring someone to say something to her about it. I did and when she wouldn't stop, I walked away and pretended I didn't know her. 😳 |

I still remember being so startled by that scene! My sister (who I rarely see & never do things with) and I had gone to the movie. It was a good one! The movie has held up well over the years. Regarding the movie 1976 version (and original) Carrie with Sissy Spacek: I had already seen the movie in the movie theater. My sister had travelled east to visit family. She asked me to go see the movie with her. I had to peel my sister off the theater ceiling because of the last scene in the movie. Volume up. |

The young lady in the scene is Amy Irving who went on to be Steven Spielberg's first wife. The woman who plays Amy Irving's mother in the scene is Priscilla Pointer and who in real life is Amy Irving's mother. |

I found out last weekend that DH, a grown ass man of 66, had never seen either Jaws or Alien before. Both were on TV that weekend, so now he’s seen both. How do you miss seeing such cultural icons? I suspect he may be a Russian plant. Or an alien. |

I did google artist Not sure if I read it recently or heard it on the news. A pregnant woman was recently hospitalized due to uncontrolled high blood pressure. After much testing, doctors discovered high salt content in her system. In talking with the patient, the doctors found out she had a very strong craving for soy sauce and was drinking massive quantities of it. |

Years ago there was a Weight Watchers meeting place right next to Baskin Robins ice cream. This was in one of our many little strip malls. And in front of it was a big free standing Krispy Kreme Donuts. Across the street was a big funeral home. |
