I know this is OT, but since this is one of her favorite threads, I'll ask here if anyone knows whether or not NoNamePerson is ok or not?
Hoping she is just taking some time off and is not sick. I'mmmmmmmm back!! All is well!! Don't scare us like that! We thought we'd have to send out the hounds to find you. Hope all is well!

Hoping she is just taking some time off and is not sick. I'mmmmmmmm back!! All is well!! The way I heard it you were in Paris, France trying to get into Le Cordon Bleu , a French cooking school. After they asked you to display your cooking skills as part of the entrance requirements, they tossed you out the door when reviewing the number of times your local fire department was called to your home to extinguish your kitchen fires. Le Cordon Bleu would also not give you your passport back because they thought it was a fake. You then roamed the streets of Paris penniless until the French government put you on a plane back to the U.S. The U.S. government let you in on a refugee visa until you could prove you had lived here before. They asked you for proof and you referred them to your local fire department who said they knew you 'quite' well. Welcome back !

You wouldn't believe some of the scenarios my brain came up with to explain your absence, none of which were as good as Tennesseer's though. Please, if possible, next time give a heads up beforehand.

I promise to give heads up. Sometimes we forget that cyber friends miss an absence quicker than RL friends. Thanks for the concern. Part of my absence borders on the comic premises of Tenn. but nothing to do with cooking. Won’t hijack thread but had to do with going to funeral of EX family. Out of town. And so glad I went since reconnected with a few peeps that I hadn’t seen in 40 years and it was a sad but good thing also. Only makes sense to me. Ok I’m rambling.

NoNamePerson - did you make your 'world famous' hot dog and relish jello while you were away?

DGD2 absolutely LOVES taking the clothes and the heads off of her Barbies! I have no idea why. She's only 2yrs old. My guess is that she likes the reaction she gets from people. She thinks everything is funny, if she gets a reaction (doesn't matter if it's good or bad), it all just makes her laugh more! Most of the time, I do think she's pretty funny. Pulling faces and stuff. But the dismembered and decapitated Barbies needs to stop. She only does it to Barbies. Silly girl!

Ok this is worse. I love escargot, but they are served in their cute shells, with wonderful butter/garlic sauce and crusty bread. These hellish things are displayed right out there in the plate and appear to be served in Vaseline. 😱
