Iggy aka IGHey, look on the bright side. Humidity is only 13%. Think how munch hotter it would feel like if humidity was at 85%.

Our heat index is 103 right now, with humidity at 50%. Yes, I know, it's August, so what do you expect...

Our humidity is higher than temps sometimes. Ok I exaggerate just a tad but not much.

Since June 1st, we in Memphis have had 46 days where the heat index (HI) was 100 degrees or higher. Rest of this week into next week the HI is supposed to be in the low 100s. July was the second hottest July in Memphis history. And overall, this summer may be the hottest on record. After 29 summers here I still find summers brutal and just not used to them.

Tennesseer As I was looking at ^ meme, going from picture to picture was thinking "Yeah, that really looks like him or he has changed quite a bit but I can see it" etc, etc. Then got to the last picture and just laughed out loud. Great one.

It's going to be interesting to see how our Summer finishes up. We're stuck in the current heatwave for at least a week, and we've had more than normal hot weather already.

Holy smokes! I just read the above about y'all's weather and hope everyone is staying safe and hydrated! We're expecting 92 today and 95 tomorrow. Current humidity is 47%. The t-storms just keep coming. Rain we need, wildfires we do not.

Kind of like my inner child when my 7th grade social studies teacher introduced us to Lake Titicaca.

Kind of like my inner child when my 7th grade social studies teacher introduced us to Lake Titicaca. Is there such a place? Back when I was in 7th grade, I would have laughed at that too! It didn't take much to get me to laugh, when I was in the 7th grade. In fact, I got sent to the vice principal's office once, for it. Not because I had done anything wrong. But because I laughed at the other students who were doing things they shouldn't. And I used to laugh/smile when I got nervous (not on purpose), so things didn't go real well for me, when I spoke to him. (I was REALLY nervous. I'd never been in trouble at school before.) π

When I went to Norway 20 years ago I saw a lot of Farts dimples - which are also speed bumps. I still laugh when I say it.

There certainly is. It's a lake in the Andes, in South America. Canada has a town called Dildo. It's a real place in Newfoundland.

Or Squaw Peak - which means whore boobs or something. I never really heard the details of it being offensive. And I try not to use it, but it is ingrained!
