I had that phone back in the day. I think it might have been my first cellphone. This looks like my first cell phone back in early 90 - actually had an antenna. And back then I did have the screeching dial up thru MSN I think - one day I saw the cable guy climbing up a pole (yes that was the norm in 1998 or 1999 and within a week I had Comcast broadband internet - thought I had died and gone to heaven

That actually was a pretty popular one way back in the day. I insured them from 1999-2001. It was my first insurance job. Man. I feel old. |

Oh my heck! That was my first cell phone too! They discontinued them either right before, or right after I got mine. I used it for a long time! Finally Verizon sent me a new phone, saying I couldn't use that one anymore.😆 I used the one they sent me for probably another 5 years. I didn't get a smartphone, or even have internet capabilities on my phone, until about 5 yrs ago! - That seems crazy to me, now. 😁 |
