Obviously, this person attended a school run by Betsy DeVos. MAGA!  Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttt it's spelled phonetically isn't it. Oh, and I had to google devos so I'm not making comment on her!!  Written by someone from the generation that was taugh phonics and ebonics (I think that is what they called it - not sure) They tried that phonics stuff on DS. Thankfully he already knew how to read because he sure wouldn’t have based on that. Btw, Betsy DeVos is a very intelligent woman. |

Wow. Here is one I didn't actually try, or get talked into / dared to do! But I have no doubt, I would have done it and my mom would have been PISSED! The thing that probably would have saved me is Alka Seltzer tastes NASTY! I can't even stand the smell. YUCK! - But dang! I would have laughed my butt off if someone else would have done it! (And my mom still would have been PISSED!) Yep. I would have gotten in BIG trouble for this one! -Still, too damn funny!  |

LOL I get your point. But clearly, you are not Mormon. Mormons don't baptize that way. And my mother could strike fear in the bravest of men. Let alone an 8 year old child. Mine too, because I would have laughed. haha |

I'm sure this would be me if I had grandkids. I often wonder if son and DIL decided not to have kids because they were afraid they kids might be a throw back to grandmothers!! ETA: I think I would be a good grannie. |
