Happy for them. I don't get this one. Are they masking? Why are you happy for them? I will probably regret asking. But I can't figure it out. Please be kind. Thank you! It looks like another water cooler has been delivered. Since it is covered in plastic and is white, it gives the impression that the black (male) water cooler is marrying the slightly smaller white plastic covered thing next to it. And since it is white and smaller, it is assumed to be the bride (female). The water jug is blue. I think the bride deserves her own as the something blue.

This was me with Comcast/Xfinity most of December. My wi-fi was disconnecting every two-three minutes. About 18 phone calls to Comcast/Xfinity trying to get them to fix it. Never a live representative until the very end. They even cancelled an appointment to come to my home to fix it because prior to cancelling the appointment they checked to make sure I was connected. What they didn't do before cancelling my appoinment was to wait and see how long I remained connected. Had they done so they would have seen I was disconnected.

I just keep saying "AGENT" when it asks what I'm calling for. I HATE Comcast's automated system! Plus, I don't work for them! Just Come fix the damn thing! But sometimes their customer service reps, are worse than their automated system! Then you are REALLY in trouble! When they send a rep out, to do "damage control" caused by the previous rep, you KNOW they really F'd up, that time! That has happened to me twice. The 3rd time, they just called the supervisor and his supervisor to come over and meet them, when he couldn't figure out the problem I'd been having for years, at the same address. They finally ran a separate line, for my apt. No one believes me, when I tell them that. Apparently, it's quite unusual. IDK. But I REALLY hate their automated system. It's the worst, EVER!

A classic and always welcome. It was Valentines Day into Easter already at the local pharmacy. Most of the Xmas stuff was already bought at a discount or long gone. Guess I missed a bit not stopping by in the last week/

I no longer buy romaine lettuce in store. I grow my own or I don't eat any. It is really the only lettuce I use for the most part.

A couple of years ago, after consuming all of a store-bought head of romaine lettuce, I stuck the butt of the head of lettuce into dirt to see what it would do. To my surprise, and after a month or so, it started growing new leaves. I had some free romaine lettuce. I even let it go to seed. Over winter, the seeds spread out and started new heads. But summer heat burned them all and they died. But fun experiment.

I went to bed last night thinking I would wake up early and go for a swift walk.
I also thought before retiring I might win the lottery.
Odd are about the same, so I slept in this morning.

I might go out today and continue cutting stuff back in prep for snow etc. If there are some surviving dandelion leaves or flowers they will go to Moon Shadow. Need to cut back the boxwoods and some other stuff. Very wet year and I think we are going to lose yet more trees. Might grab this one boxwood sport and see if I can nurture it into something. I have paperwork I really should be doing and laundry, so that's optimism talking as I think about what I need to accomplish today including food prep.

Try soup. After my gluttony last night, bouillon warmed me up and a low cal snack. If I'm eating macaroni salad or potato salad, I put it on a bed of lettuce. I also like celery for a snack.
