It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

We all know there are whack jobs on both sides. You keep saying that, prove it! And the subject of the video in the OP is not a random "whack job". These are government employees, not random "protestors"! This event took place in a government building, with government union sanction...do you really not see the difference between that and a random group of idiots protesting on the street? Umm, do you know what the members of that "random group of idiots" do for a living? Nope. You don't, and neither do I. Some of them might be <gasp!> government employees! It's beyond ludicrous to sit there and claim all the jerks are on one side of the political fence. Frankly, it makes you look the fool.

I personally never claimed all the jerks are on one side, I WILL state unequivocally that all the people who are, in an official capacity either in a party, in a government job, or in leadership in the union for government employees are on the left, and most are in the Democratic Party.

No one is saying that. What is being said is that it seems they come from the left side of the fence more than not. That is something you will have a hard time denying.

Since the TEA Party protests began, leftists, Democrats, and the priviledged government class union thugs have increasingly resorted to violence. They've lost the argument, and their ensuing temper tantrum has been a physical threat to people wishing to express themselves, be heard, and cast their votes democratically.
DEMS SNEAK UNION THUGS INTO CARNAHAN TOWN HALL– Tea Party Taxpayers Locked Out! Over 1,000 St. Louis Tea Party Taxpayers showed up to attend the Russ Carnahan town hall meeting in South St. Louis. They were Locked Out!
But… The Carnahan staff was sneaking in SEIU members in the side door marked "handicapped."
And then this report on ensuing events from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and YouTube:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” i thought "not something the POTUS should have said" when i first heard it.

I'm actually not offended by metaphors in political rhetoric. I'm offended by direct threats of physical assault however, and I'm offended by hypocrisy on the left over which speech is acceptable and which is not.

Considering is not the same as acting. I've considered for about 10 years that the world would be a better place without my ex husband, but he's still breathing. When I look at what conservatives are up against these days, nothing they might "consider" seems off base to me.

Considering is not the same as acting. I've considered for about 10 years that the world would be a better place without my ex husband, but he's still breathing. When I look at what conservatives are up against these days, nothing they might "consider" seems off base to me. Liberals are like spoiled children. They have rarely, if ever, been told simply, "no". Not since FDR, and certainly not since LBJ. They've gotten whatever they wanted to get by us, and they've reached the end of the line. We've finally had it, we're finally assuming our responsibility and reigning them in-- largely because we have no choice at this point. They've finally burned the house down and we've been forced to act. Liberals were chastised in 2010, but that was really just the beginning. This is a sustained effort that will go on for decades. 2012 will bring the full weight of disciplinary action to the liberals-- in BOTH parties. The party is OVER. NO MORE. And I think the kids know it-- that's why they're lashing out like this. We definitely have to worry as the parent of any undisciplined brood these days- that we may suffer violence at their hands. So, yes we can use violent outbursts and assaults and threats of sexual and other assaults as political ammunition, but there's a dark, underlying reality we have to face now: We may see the spoiled rotten children on the left attempt to keep by force-- and the use of threats, intimidation, and violent attacks-- what they can't keep through the democratic process; and attempt to hold by fear and threat of death what they lost in the marketplace of ideas.

Unfortunately I fear you may be right. I saw the head union thug exiting the White House this morning. His second home, it seems like. Now there are the 50 state protests planned for today by that communist Van Jones and the unions. And all this because some broke states are trying to fix their budgets?? Talk about over the top. This all has nothing to do with Wisconsin or any other state.

New tactic.. www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/02/fiscal_responsibility_is_racis.htmlFebruary 26, 2011 Fiscal responsibility is racist! Phil Boehmke It took a little while, but the race card has finally been played in the Wisconsin budget battle. As responsible governors and legislatures around the country are working diligently to solve their budget woes by bringing public sector salaries and benefits back in line with the private sector, their Democrat beneficiaries, union leaders and fellow leftists are scrambling to defend the otherwise indefensible. Failing in the arena of ideas and logic the left called out the rank and file, organizers and thugs to intimidate reform minded leaders and create a pageant of oppressed public servants for the MSM. Now that they have failed in their attempt to crush the reform movement they have dropped the race card on the table, a sure sign of desperation.

The deal is-- LOTS of people are OUT of work, UNDEREMPLOYED, losing everything they own-- and I haven't seen any of those people out screaming in the streets. These people are at risk of losing their jobs IF they do not give some, like everybody else has, and they are out howling over losing some, not losing all, like so many people have when the alternative is losing their jobs. Frankly, I blame the unions and the politicians that let this get so out of control. It never should have happened. I'm tired of some people acting like the union workers are in some way more important than the non union workers. They are not. It's time for their contracts to reflect reality more, like, say-- their fellow union workers that are FEDS, and do not have the collective bargaining rights that these guys do. Sure it hurts, it's been hurting for a few years now.

This message brought to you by Republicans, the party of "no." Remember you can't have "contradictory" without putting a "con" into it.
First, you are? What have you done? Second what has the Republican controlled HoR done?
Bla bla bla, empty rhetoric, bla bla bla... And do tell us how you've acted. And no, I really don't find blathering bulletin board messages really doing anything.
What you're speaking about is at least as much as the parent's fault. Oh, and where were "you parents" 2001-2006?
I don't recall the left talking about the overthrowing of government as nearly as much as the right, so instead of babbling on and on with empty phrases, look to your own ranks. Or just do what you and your ilk have been doing, combing the internet to find a small percentage of liberals that have been behaving badly and proving the phrase "the lady doth protest too much."

Conservatives would like to preserve our nation as founded. The left is about overthrowing it- by any means possible. That would include the systematic murder of 25 million Americans:

The left isn't as dangerous as they once were- but they are to be watched. Very carefully.

Future tense.
Past tense.
I guess the systematic murder of 25 million Americans isn't that bad then.

It never happened because Barack Hussein Obama's friends Bill Ayers & company never got their way. Then maybe you should have phrased it differently. Like this: "The left was about overthrowing it- by any means possible. That would have included the systematic murder of 25 million Americans"

palmbeachpaul-"Nice try"? You are making my point. It was their plan but it never happened. Even you said it never happened: "It never happened because Barack Hussein Obama's friends Bill Ayers & company never got their way."
Now unless someone stole your account and posted under your nickname "It never happened because Barack Hussein Obama's friends Bill Ayers & company never got their way", then I could understand.
Your statement should have read "The left was about overthrowing it- by any means possible. That would have included the systematic murder of 25 million Americans" because it never happened.
