Some of you may have noticed the new ads appearing on NMSNM pages just below the "usual" Proboards ads. The new ads are a bit larger than the old ones but don't change the layout of the page. By including these extra ads, Proboards gives us access to a premium suite of developer tools that we can use to further enhance the boards and better everyone's browsing experience. We'll have better control over page margins, support for extended character sets, and support for the Wingdings font, to name a few benefits. It took a lot of work by several staff members to make this awesome deal a reality, so please join me in giving the whole NMSNM staff team three thumbs up!  |

The ads reload every time I refresh and block my whole page so I have to scroll down past them every time. There isn't even an option to close the ad, like yahoo allows...
EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!

I hate the ads. They are annoying as heck. Too large, take too long to load, and clearly the work of a mind that needs to be occupied with loftier thoughts.

More like somebody dislikes half the screen being taken up by mayhem and foolishness, not to mention the fact that the ads are unfunny and uninformative. And in-your-face big and headache-inducing. |

The prank aspect is irrelevant to me. I don't really do AFD. I just find the size and brightness of the ads so annoying that I cannot even look at the ads. Closing them does not appear to be an option. |

The mayhem is at an end... this year. For those of you who may have missed the ads:  Because everyone needs edible soap.  Only irresponsible parents don't bubble-wrap their kids.  The series got a bit of a makeover.  I can't count the number of times I've run into people whose dream is to fly helicopters in Japan.  Trampolines: more dangerous than you thought.  For everyone with an interest in neutral cap forex recall... float... whatever.  This one was for Shooby. You never know what you'll pick up at a Lady Gaga concert.  If the US treasury had a dollar for every new Pokemon they put out...  This one is a real ad. I use this secret and totalee make tons of money. No comment. |

All I know is that I cannot use the Like or Quote feature. It just takes me back to the top of the page. That happens with another proboard as well. I could probably try to correct it but I really don't know how and even if I did, I am just not in the mood to futz with my puter!
