I'm pretty sure they are out. They are pretty hard to find in stores, especially stores that cater to younger guys. That is a good indicator. Whenever I see younger guys in shorts it is always athletic shorts. I think boys have given up on structured clothing all together. I don't have any problems finding them in stores; they are all over the place. I only wondered because I would read people saying that cargo shorts were out of style, like it was common knowledge or something. |

I have a pair from Army/Navy Surplus that I wear when we camp. No one cares what's fashionable when you're out in the woods anyway.  |

GQ says no on Cargo shorts since last summer www.gq.com/style/wear-it-now/201306/the-best-shorts-for-the-summer#slide=1You will be happy to know that Red bandanna around the neck is coming back. All of the spring 2014 trend look ugly. This will be interesting spring and summer at work. All of the boys read fashion magazine. First place I ever saw skinny pants on men. I think there is no hope for husband for me here. They all look ridiculous. I guess I like more woodsy guy better. I vote cargo short back in. If those shorts are in style, then I definitely want to be out of style! YIKES! |

Some of them are okay - but some of them look very girly. You have to be extremely fit to wear any of those. The regular sized people will just have to be out of fashion for the next few years.

Was that a men's magazine website? Those shorts look like shorts made for women. Please, God, keep all of that away from Wyoming! We have to have cargo shorts here. More room for extra magazines when hunting. |

Hubs already wears some of the shorts styles in the slide show. But, he is very slim and they look good on him. He wears clothes very well. Jerk.

I'll chime in here. I will not wear cargo shorts but do have several pair of cargo pants and like them a lot because of all the pockets. Mrs. Kent is OK with all but the camo pair which she really doesn't care for - can't imagine why because she feels the "remedy" to my styling disaster would be either a camo shirt or at least one in Army green. Sometimes that girl is hard to figure out.
