Update: 16 NSDs and 4 CSDs Didn't realize that it was so long since my last entry. Several meetings after school this week led to a huge increase in NSDs but I am in the midst of writing out checks so today will be either a spend day or a CS day. Most of these are planned but I am sure that something will turn up that I didn't plan or save for. Doing the usual never ending jobs of laundry, housework and correcting student projects. Think that most of today will be spent doing the latter and I will not be finished by the end of the day. Hoping that the current collection will be finished by the end of this week. The dryer just buzzed so it is time to switch loads. Will try to check in later this week.

A quick check-in. I'm staying in budget but it is tough. I just got approved for hip replacement surgery in about six weeks and will have difficulty getting around for several weeks after that. I am planning ahead for some expenses during that time that I can take care of early, which is making the budget tight. I am not looking forward to this, but I am looking forward to not having my arthritis limit my life so much. I have been told that checking into this surgical hospital is like going to a spa-but with pain. I guess they really pamper the patients and their families. There is a Murphy bed in the rooms and meals provided for families as well. They consider the family and friends around an aid to a quick recovery. I will be in the surgical hospital for about four days and then transferred to my local hospital for about ten days for recovery and physical therapy.
I have a great support group among my friends. Rides are offered for medical/therapy appointments, kitty care is not going to be a major concern, meal prep is being offered as well as assistance shopping. I have some wonderful friends.
It will be a busy few weeks getting everything done beforehand. But it will happen.

Spring is here. Calleigh brought me a snake today. A two foot long garden snake, her favorite, dead thankfully. Just means I have to check her mouth for livestock whenever she comes inside now. Onyx and Leo just sniffed at the dead snake and decided it was not worth their time.
Any ideas for the name for April? I am coming up blank. 3cats you are so good at this. If some can come up with a name I'll set it up.

All Savings Counts April? All Spent Out April?
3catslady: 12/10 NSD, 19/20 CSD, 0/1 eating out days.
I didn't eat out one day this month but I did buy sandwiches and take them home to eat. I did go over the NSD which I thought was good. I think I will go up to 15 NSD next month and see what happens.
