And I supppose what's "moral" differs from person to person.
I work for the government. Especially in the last few years, some people can get really hostile towards government workers. Also, working with radioactive material, some people find that morally repugnant (mostly hippy types).
I can't think of too many legal inherantly "dishonest" professions. The only ones that immediately come to mind are people who sell stuff that isn't really good for the consumer, or otherwise exploitative. Or just selling stuff that is not fit for purpose, or otherwise not following good sales practices.
Stuff like the meat industry, or pharmacuticals, law firms, or even weapons manufacturing or defense contracting don't seem dishonest to me. I suppose it's always dishonest to exploit your employees, but to me that's a separate issue.
In the end, I think to me, "dishonest" is more of how you conduct yourself on the job than something inherant to your profession.

The people who need the buy here, pay here type places don't have a lot of other options and are there because of prior mistakes. They have the opportunity to get a car, and begin fixing their credit issues with the loan so I wouldn't have a problem working there as long as the cars being sold were serviceable.
I spent a season working at H&R block and their rapid refund loans were crazy. I would never encourage them, and explained to people that in most cases they would have the full refund in 8-14 days. But I didn't lose any sleep over the fact that many people still took the loan. A few thousand now, is better than a few thousand plus $200 in 10 days in some cases.

I read this a little differently. I am currently job hunting, though I expect I'll be employed again sometime in February, the way things are going. Most of my career has been in healthcare, and I would happily stay in healthcare (though my current best options are back with the university, not on a healthcare side), but I refuse to apply for any jobs with two of the biggest healthcare employers in the area. Why? They are Catholic Healthcare, and my personal morals and ethics do not match with the morals and ethics of Catholic healthcare. They believe birth control and abortion are immoral. I believe not letting women control their reproductive systems or forcing them to give birth to unwanted children (when there are already so many in foster care) is immoral.
Since I know the morals of the employer don't match my morals, I simply won't apply for work there. It is NOT that I consider the work beneath me, it is that I find some of their practices unconscionable.
In general, I won't apply for any position with a religious organization, for the same reasons- I know my personal morals and ethics are not likely to be a complete match with theirs and it would just cause problems later down the line.
As for jobs that are legal that the general public might find to be immoral or unethical- I used to live in NV. Prostitution is legal. I would be unwilling to do any work for a brothel. Gambling is legal. Casinos make massive money, most of it off people who can't afford to lose the money. I would work for a casino. (But I probably wouldn't work for a pawn shop directly across the street from the casinos.)

I am finding this thread ironic because I applied today to work for a local payday loan place. Hell, I need the income.

I can't sell fully loaded mutual funds to people who don't understand the product. Not sure I could anyhow I think they are bad. A company tried to get me to give them list of my friends and family then I would learn to sell while my trainer sold to my leads. They from what I understand help people find money to invest like you can refinance your house and invest the equity with us. So we would take 5% or more of their net worth to put them in a mutual fund. I can't give leads to be sold this. I consider it wrong to get paid 20K for an hour or two of fast talking them into something.
I couldn't do some moral things like lap dances even if legal of course nobody offered me that job.
