Guess who's back? Back again? Bsb's back. Tell a friend.
Guess who's back guess who's back guess who's back.
Na na na.
Thank you, thank you. Hold your early-2000s applause!
Alright, so here I am ready to re-engage and rock and roll and I MAY have had coffee this morning WHEEEEEEE!
Weighed in this morning, hanging out at 169 as of this morning. However, doubt that's actual because was hungover and dehydrated this morning. And if it is the case, it's almost certainly because of muscle loss over the last month as I haven't worked out in at least that long. Work's been crazy, life's been crazy, bad habits resurfacing. Regardless, back on the horse!
AND (and I know you are all so excited about this) I'm restarting this core challenge from the beginning. So I'm going to start at 10's again and I will repost the challenge this afternoon.
Haven't been keeping up here, but have read enough to know that we're all in a slump. Do we need a Kick-April's-Ass challenge? Let me know!

welcome back BSB! I was just thinking we needed some kind of challenge. I kept the core challenge going through around 30ish, but my back issues took over and I stopped. Maybe a Spring challenge that will go now through the end of May? (6 weeks -ish) I have no idea what it could be... for fitbit/pedometer users we could have a "race" and log our miles per day and see how far we can go through the end of may. I just hit my 2000 mile mark myself and that made me sorta inspired (At least for a few hours) Thoughts?

Did the core challenge... Sorta. Had to replace bridge up and vsit with bicycle crunches and lower ab crunches Even after tons of stretching, my back is still too tight to do the bridge and vsit. 10k steps done... Planning on at least another 2k tonight.

Just cannot not seem to get motivated lately.
I have two goals set. One is to get 400,000 steps for the month of April. Will really need to pick up the pace on this one. Thru yesterday I have 178,666. Not motivated this morning at all and that s word is falling from the sky.
The other goal is to hit 3 million steps by May 12 (9 months since I started wearing Fit Flex).
Well off to work. Have a great day!

Oh my goodness, I hopped on the scale this morning and it was at 201....lowest weight in probably a year!! Gotta keep it up for my official weigh-in on Friday! The walking is finally paying off!!!
Of course it snowed today so I don't know if we will get a walk in, but that's why we got a treadmill!
If I get under 200 pounds this week, I don't know what I will do!

Hee sarcastic! I've been drinking 2 cups of coffee to suppress my appetite which really just ends up with me being hyper and peeing a lot...!

Hopefully my work walking partner will not be in meetings all day and I will be able to get in a walk at lunch. At least the weather will be better so even if he is not available I can get in a walk. Step Step Step

The scale was at 200.6 today!! This is way more motivating than gaining and losing the same 2 pounds. I walked on the treadmill last night - only 20 minutes but glad I got something in. We might be able to walk outside this evening - it will be around 50. Just have to bundle the baby up. I am DETERMINED to be under 200 on Friday! Well, I'm going to try at least!

Spent my evening disassembling out bed frame and clearing some furniture in our master to make room for the king bed coming tomorrow!!!! Finished up after 9pm... Got my steps up to 10k and am crawling in bed. Must be at work early in the AM. No core challenge. Tomorrow will be a better day... Either that or I will come home from work and spend the next 24 hours after That in bed!

Yay! Official weigh-in today and I am at 200.6!! I'm psyched to get in the 190s soon I hope! Easter might be a little tough - I plan on indulging in some soda and probably dessert, but I will try to rein myself in. On the other hand, Good Friday is a day of fasting, so no junk and very little food will be eaten today. Yesterday DH and I walked 3 miles, and we will probably go do so again this evening.
Everyone have a great weekend and good luck!!!

Scale has not been moving.
While I have been getting in my steps I am very behind on hitting my goal of 400,000 steps for the month.
Well time to get stepping

14k steps for me as well... I was ready to stop at 11k but got motivation from ners to keep going.
Ate lots if salty food and am retaining SO MUCH water today. Scale up 3 pounds. Going to the cubs game today which means lots of walking... But also a soft pretzel. Going to try and hydrate and flush all this water from my system first.

have been eating like a jackass again, and the scale says 202.8 this morning. oh well, I can't really be mad at anyone but myself. volleyball starts up for the season tomorrow, I'll be playing 2x week this year. I checked out my bike yesterday (car is in the shop until tomorrow, in case I needed to go somewhere I couldn't walk to) so that's good for the summer now. going to Easter dinner at my sis/BIL's house later today, where the only things I'll eat are the spinach salad and the eggplant I'm bringing - that I spent probably 8h yesterday prepping/cooking. you know when you've made this huge elaborate meal all day and you don't want any part of it? that's kind of where I'm at right now. maybe I'll bring a box of pasta too - I can snag some of the sauce out of the meatballs. keep up the great work ladies and gents!

Still 131.5 this morning, grrrr. Been stuck there for more than a month, more like a month and a half. Maybe if I actually went to the gym it would help? But today my head is killing me, plus we were out late (I won the ticket lottery for "Kinky Boots: the Musical" so we got a night at the theater for cheap), so no gym. Maybe tomorrow? *sigh*

Okay- time to reign things in regarding my eating habits. Have been seriously lacking with the veggies lately. too many carbs. My stomach is so bloated, I look preggo! last night i was trying to chug water in order to lose some of this water i'm retaining... it didn't work. I work up with sausage fingers and a bloated stomach. Gonna have DH grill up some extra chicken tonight to have salads for work for a couple of days. that should help me get back on track. hope everyone has a good weekend. Weather was fantastic here in chi-town and we took advantage, for sure!

The weekend was great!!! Walked about 3 miles each day on Thurs, Fri and Sat and felt great! Ate too many croissants and some candy on Sunday, but not too bad overall. This morning I was up a pound. I'll eat well this week and keep walking and hopefully break that 200 mark this week!
So now that Lent is over I need a few more goals. I think they are: no soda till Mothers Day and 2 pieces of candy a week. Let's see how that goes!
