What I'd like to know is how they got the forged papers in the first place and how did they get them to the right person in the prison that would sanction their release.

If you know what a Court Order looks like that reduces a sentence, it's easy to forge the document.   I prepare Court Orders for submission to the Court all the time.   Courts often don't prepare their own orders, they have the attorneys submit them on notice to the other side.   

Apparently this judge was the judge for the Casey Anthony trial, so his signature was public knowledge.

 This whole thing keeps getting stranger. Apparently well thought out, the two registered at the sheriff's office as felons as required of early release prisoners. One of them was last seen strolling through a local mall.

This just gets more and more embarrassing for Florida authorities who are busy now trying to close varous loopholes in their procedures.

How, pray tell,  does that equate to "baby mommas", zibazinski?  Do you think these guys might have mothers, or fathers, or friends, or cousins?  Are the only people they know "baby mommas"?  As it turns out they were holed up in a motel.  There was no mention of anybody being there with them.  How they got the forms they needed hasn't been mentioned, so we don't know.  I'd think it was an inside job, myself.  In other words, that original "baby momma" post was exactly what it appeared to be and nothing more.  Let's just leave that kind of conjecture out of the discussion.  That's a place we really don't need to go.

I held my tongue on baby-mama, but my first impression was that it was an assumption that the escapees were black men that could be found with one of the various women that they must have knocked up in the past.

It wasn't find their girlfriends, brothers, sisters, cousins- it was baby mamas- which assumes they have children for one, and assumes that they abandoned them for two.

I find it a racial statement.  Just my opinion.

many times folks on the lam go to their momma's house. seems especially during blizzards. it's a well known law enforcement tactic. at least in the NYC metro area.

We have a black liberation theology President right now- and this goes to make my point that white racism exists, but it is not mainstream thought.  The fact is that no white candidate as racist as Barack Obama would ever get anywhere near a Presidential primary, let alone a nomination, or a general election.  This is part and parcel of the problem I've been pointing out about our race problems in America- they are categorically one-sided, and the problem exists nearly exclusively in the black community with a few slivers of it, and a few outposts on the fringes of the white population.  Black racism is acceptable, it is mainstream, and it is unabashed.
