The Dems were on the phone yelling NO! NO! NO! when the vote was taken. Read more: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=politics&action=display&thread=3545&page=5#ixzz1EmaV9xQ9There is a marked difference between a "no" vote on a rights-compromising bill and a "no" vote on a nation-saving-reform bill. You Republicans have yet to grasp the difference. Once again... if we PURGE all the boards of directors and executives who did NOT found the business that compensates them and blackball them from new employment until it drives them crazy... maybe, just MAYBE they'll grasp that they TOO are just HIRED HANDS and that one set of rules fits all in the land of the FREE. If you want to be royalty, seek out some pathetic Third World nation to buy out, don't turn us into one.

No arguement there from me. I have been saying for two years that we need a few bankers heads on pikes up and down wall street. On that note, I think it's interesting that JP Morgan just posted it's third perfect trading quarter in a row. Methinks the fix is in!

Do you refer to elected officials or directors and executives of corporations? Board of Directors are generally voted on by the stock holders and elected officials are voted in by the voters so the problem you speak of can easily be fixed by simply not voting for the clowns the next time around or you could petition to have them recalled if their grievances justify it. If you don't like the actions or compensation of the board of directors of a particular company simply sell their stock and support a different company with your money. Hopefully you aren't suggesting that Washington fix this problem.
