Have any of you had treatments for varicose veins? I am interested in your experiences.
I am 35, and have had some varicose veins as a result of my two pregnancies (the second was twins - over 11 lbs of babies). I went to a vein clinic and was diagnosed with vein disease since many of my veins measured 6 mm (the minimum is 3 mm for the diagnosis). I had a laser ablation of a 2 inch section of a vein in my left leg and a 6 inch section in the left. After the procedures, I have had a few schlerotherapy injections to close the other veins that were problematic. All of this is covered by insurance because of my diagnosis. But today I find out that I may need another laser ablation on the left leg because apparently the closure of the feeder vein caused my Greater Saphenous Vein to start refluxing (though before the laser there was no reflux). To say that I am irritated and ticked off would be an understatement, but I was looking for others' experiences with vein treatment.

I'm interested in what others have the to say. After my pregnancy, I think I have varicose veins. I haven't done anything about it yet as we aren't done having babies yet. We hope to have 1 more in the next couple of years. Either way, good luck!
