Government debt, Economy, Jobs, Housing,....
Government needs to get the hell out of the way and let Americans do what they do best.....innovate, grow and prosper...and all of the above will be taken care of in fairly short order.

Statements like this make it appear lawmakers are well aware that the economy is beyond repair so it might be best to cloud the issue with a hot button non-economic topic like abortion. I would be gravely concerned with such a ridiculous suggestion.

He lost me when he told that Helen Thomas that she is the one that should go home, and used the bible to show proof as to who owns Gaza. Too much like what we are against for me. Thomas was wrong with her comment, and Huck jumped in with both feet.

I would be gravely concerned with such a ridiculous suggestion. Well heres a suprise..SURPRISE--- I agree with Burns. There are two ways to look at this..Burns is correct the house fire is so out of control that they threw their hands up in disgust, no way out of this mess , some one suggests. "Hey, how about bringing up the abortion issue, that should satisfy the mob for a while" , and all think what a great idea. Another way to look at it, the Jobs are coming back to a semi fair average of unemployment, not utopia yet, but big improvement, stock market doing not bad so taxes on gains way above those expected, some real progress by both sides on spending and the deficit made, Brother Hood, while there, not really taking over anything, Beck still predicting but now pushing possible 2089, possible Israeli/Palastinians not yet a two State but good progress on the talks, last thing is Jeruselum and Israelis allowing a incy bitsy tiny sliver of the City, out in the boonies it's true , for the site of their , Palastinian Capital , public buildings, just working out a possible little bit more , and talks are cordial. so with all that and more..."Hey, this abortion thing, think it's time to bring it up again, give it a shot?" Why not

it's ridiculous that the only thing the right seems to be interested in is their ability to control women & deny them the LEGAL right to choose. it's ridiculous that this is the issue that they always pull out to run on and hook those one issue voters. it's ridiculous that with the economy, jobs, immigration issues that this is the one that is always the old fall back point when it comes time to think about elections.
the whole frigging thing, along with the attempt to redefine rape, the "approval" to shoot abortion doctors, all of it is ridiculous.

Huck pretty much played only to the one issue voters. I think Reps have figured out that abortion isn't the winning issue for them that it used to be.

It's endlessly amusing to see the liberals on this board cheering the Egyptian people as they move toward a theocratic government under the Muslim Brotherhood, then using the same idea as a scare tactic for Americans. I don't understand why they think they are so much better than the Egyptian people, that the Egyptians deserve a theocracy somehow...

I wasn't referring to you specifically, but your "the US is turning into a theocracy!!!" meme is a common one on this board. It was worse when Bush was president, but now it mostly comes out whenever a conservative tries to protect human life. In the meantime, all the lefties are rah-rah'ing behind the Egyptian "revolution" while the Muslim Brotherhood, with Obama's blessing, is waiting in the wings to take power so they can start executing homosexuals, Christians, women who disobey their husbands and Jews...

I look forward to seeing what you can come up with to support your claim regarding ALL the lefties since I am one of those.....

How can you say that the Muslim Brotherhood, with Obama's blessing is waiting in the wings to take power so that can start executing homosexuals, Christians, women who disobey their husbands and Jews??? Obama is a Democrat. His Presidency has had the first successful elimination of Don't ask don't tell. Democrats are not anti-woman. I would say Anti-Abortion fanatics are more anti-woman than anything Obama has demonstrated. To me, many Anti-Abortion voters are single issue voters who don't exhibit critical thinking skills. The rest of the party platform can go against the best interests of them, their family, their community and their faith but the will still vote the platform. And how you can claim to be pro-life but justify pre-meditated murder is beyond me. People like this are scary- many are not demonstrating that they are mentally balanced but we have a party that is willing to play on their infirmities to gain what they want.
