We can't be white and proud?

You would probably never know if I didn't tell you but there are eggplants that come from Holland and called Purple Pride. Its state of the art. Google and look at them.
Its like $4lb eggplants. Sold at Wegmans or Whole Foods.

There also were eggplants of same sort but white called White Pride.

Guess what! They are no more white Pride. They are now just white eggplants from Holland!

Isn't political correcteness went really too far? I just watched TV and there are blacksmeet.com dating site. I am thinking to open one as well. Guess whats the name gonna be? I can't even type it, what if they ban me again?

I am of the Caucasian persuasion, but I have a deep olive tone to my skin and tan well. People never believe me when I tell them I am of Eastern European heritage. I usually add that there is likely a Mediterranean milkman sitting on my family tree somewhere; we just haven't found him yet.

Nancy, there are some "Black Norwegians" in my family tree.  The locals called them that only because they look tan year-round...  (BTW, my Grandmother had that gene, but it skipped me.)

Heck, it gets stranger.....I'm dark, as is one of my brothers. The other brother is a green-eyed blond. You see the three of us together, and there's no way you'd know we were related.

When we were kids, I used to torture the blond brother by telling him that gypsies left him in a basket by the front door, and mom and dad only took him in because they felt sorry for him.

I'm 'tan' too Nancy.  Pure I TI.  I'm not sure where my blue eyes came from.  Perhaps a milk man of a different eye tone. ??  My brother's were ice blue as are my son's.  All the kids have their dad's 'white' skin!  LOL  Can you believe when we got married that his family was 'racist'?  They thought Italians were the bottom of the food chain. LOL I never notice the difference until they brought it up. I still don't.  People can be shmucks.

PS, I love the torture thing.  I can just picture it.

I'm mixed - I tan really well on the top half of my body, but not much luck on the legs.  They pretty much stay white.  Maybe a pink from time to time, but that's temporary.  I have to laugh at the taunts to the siblings.  DS had cotton top white hair that glowed in the dark when he was  little and it was wild like Chuckie's on the Rug Rats.  Gray eyes.  Tans well.  People used to always ask who he looked like, and the joke amongst friends was his father the milkman.  We realized the joke needed to stop when a cashier at the grocery store asked me that one day and DD (around 5 at the time) chimed in the milkman .  Her and her father (my ex by then) had him convinced his father wasn't really his father when he was about 12.  They finally told him they were kidding.  He is VERY sensitive to this day if you try to joke around with him about being the milkman's son!

Recently I've noticed my skin has become so pale I almost glow. Too bad "grandma white" isn't fashionable!

OK, so here's the real scoop.  We can't be white and proud because white skin is frankly a little gross.  Seriously, when I look at the parts of my skin that never see the sun, the skin is so transparent, you can actually see the blue veins underneath it.  Nasty.  There is nothing sexy about white skin, that's why we can't be white and proud.  It always amazes me that somehow white skin became more socially desireable.  WTF?  It's just plain weird.

LOL you thank me for staying on topic and then turn around and ask me if I ever have fun.

Anyway, I guess I have fun.  I try to visit local parks and attractions on occasion.  I try to get out and "do something" every other weekend or so.  Otherwise I fill my free time with playing video games, especially on the weekdays after work.  It's okay I guess, I've been thinking of new hobbies to try.  But I also get fairly lonely too, but that's neither here nor there.
