The only selective hearing I see regularly is Dad filtering out 75% of what Mom says. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png)

so what do you do when they give your food? Do you mention it was supposed to be "to stay" and do you make them unpack it and put it on plates and whatever? or do you just shrug ad take the food as is?

YIKES!!! I complained about the food at McDonald's once. The next time I went (drive up window), they took an obscene amount of time. Next thing I knew, I was surrounded by seven police cars! The employees had called and said I was drunk or on drugs! Neither of which was true. I passed all the tests they gave, so the EMT's refused to take me to the emergency room (unless I wanted to go). The police searched my car, and my purse. They asked where I was going, and what I was going to do when I got there. I said I was going home, and that I was probably going to bed. After giving me a lot more grief, I was finally allowed to go home. (about 2½ hrs later) Because I had prescribed medications with me, and said I was going to go to bed when I got home, I got a ticket for driving while possibly ill, or fatigued. Seriously??! POSSIBLY! They didn't let me drive my car home, and I never did get my food. My FIL at the time, was the Assistant Chief of Police. He had never heard of such a ticket, and had to do some major research to find out there was such a thing. One had not been given in over 50-60 years. The thing that really sucked, was that the ticket stuck! The judge said she hoped I learned my lesson, about complaining about the food. At one point she threatened to fine me $1,000.00 and put me in jail for 6 months! (I was being very polite & respectful. But had asked for clarification when she asked me a question.) What a witch! ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/angry.png) I didn't have any tickets showing on my record (at the time) prior to this. I haven't received one since. I have not returned to that McDonald's. And their french fries really did suck! ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) *Perhaps their hearing was impeded by the fur of a lovely snow leopard, needed to keep their neck and ears warm, due to the time of year. Ya think? It is rather cold there in July, isn't it? I always bundle up with my snow leopard during the summer. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/wink2.gif)
