Is having been born in Hawaii sufficient?
As long as Hawaii is part of the US.... Last time I checked it was. And Hawaii was a state in 1961 at the time of his birth.
The requirements - according to the Constitution: Must be native born: check Age 35: check Live in the US 14 years: check
Aren't there any other circumstances surrounding his birth that are important? Not according to the Constitution.

"....native born......"
I believe the phrase in the Constitution is "natural born". Therefore the question turns on the definition of "natural born", , , , at the time it was writtne into the Constitution. Wouldn't you agree?

Are you saying "natural" born is something different than "native" born? If so, please explain

gg, a quick google search of the terms yields a number of sites that are clearly against Obama. on those sites, "native born" means being born on US soil while "natural born" means being born to two US citizen parents.

The simple fact that women were excluded from full human rights voids any requirement that we pay attention to archaic legal definitions of what the term meant over 200 years ago.

And?
But then those sites mentioned are biased against the president so should they be considered the law of the land?

I didn't feel the need to reiterate something that has been clearly identified as fact. especially since it has never been disputed by anyone, whether they believe the President's a US citizen or not. excuse me for my error of omission.

OK, "native" or "natural", the issue was brought before a court and thrown out. That would have settled it for me.

President Obama was one of the pods in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. He is not natural born but pod born (from?) U.S. soil.
