To all the neighbors that I love, My apologies for this morning. I am only on my second attempt to run with music from my phone actually attached to my arm. I cannot wear an earpiece (nothing fits in my little bitty ear canal) so you were treated to "My Sharona" at full blast from my Android at 5:30 a.m. My bad. Could have been worse, though. "Baby Got Back (I Like Big Butts)" would have been vastly more inappropriate, in my case. Have you tried the over the ear kind of headphones? I have to use them since one of my ears rejects earbuds.

An update on my financial/retirement plan: CFP was on board and good with it. He was impressed that I did the legwork on this before calling him (hey, did I learn from my YMAM friends or what)? Documents sent in and now it is just a matter of waiting for the funds, and setting everything into motion

Dear people outside the bike shop this morning, Of the six of us, why was I the only one wearing a mask? Have y'all been living under a magic mushroom or something? This is a small business we all love and need. Protect the people who work here, you morons, and wear a mask when you interact with them.
And no, the sign says they are open for curbside pick up and delivery, not in store wandering around. So if you go there, go with business in mind. Shop on line first, then call and make arrangements with the staff. They totally rock and will bring products outside for you (well, it's pouring rain today, but they'll work out a plan, even if it means coming to your house. Yes, their website says they deliver and pick up, too).
Too many small business have failed and will continue to fail in this pandemic. This should not be one of them. Not after more than 30 years keeping us active and giving back to the cycling community and beyond.

NancysSummerSip, if it doesn't seem safe, just stay home. Or retire now. Whatever seems best. DD's office has been closed due to protestors being nearby, but then, her boss has a brain.

Mr Lawyer --
I really would like to get things started with Dad's Estate please get off your duff and start working. You cashed the check over a month ago and our court system is doing things via online. There is no reason for this not to have been started already unless you are ill. Even then you should have a assistant that could get things ready or notified me that was what is going on. No communication for over a month is not looking good for this firm. I never would have used you if I knew this is how things were turning out to be. Even though you drew up the wills for both K and Dad.
Frustrated Snap~

snapdragon The attorney for my dad's estate filed everything online. He sent the letter to my sister for the bank paperwork so he could file for the estate to be distributed on the day after the time to contest the will ended. That will also be filed online.

Exactly TheOtherMe - There has been time but time is running out. I have phoned and sent a e-mail attempting to get a response and that is just not happening. The next thing I plan on doing is basically having to do an ultimatum that this gets started or I am going to get someone else. I have a friend who is looking to find me someone if I don't get any response here soon.

Dear brother,
No. No. You do not have more experience in the pizza industry than dad or me for that matter.
You.quit every.time you got butt hurt over the guys no longer taking your crap and giving it back (several wanted to kick your ass).
Meanwhile dad started at 12 and worked there till he was my age at least 3 days a week. I worked there from 19 till it closed off and on.
You don't even come close. God DH wanted to smack you.
And no the irony is not lost on DH. It's actually been beneficial to motivate DH to never be like that again.

Dear next door neighbors....we love you and we are sorry you had to rip out your house to the studs to eliminate the mold issue. But as bad as that was, it's been three (going on four) solid weeks of pounding, drilling and sawing to rebuild. Seven days a week. We need silence one day a week. And we need this done. Soon.

In my area, zoning laws prohibit noisy work on Sundays. Check with your town.

We are unincorporated. County has no laws on this. And they gave up after an hour. All that work has to be done outside to keep the dust from inside the house. It's a bazillion degrees out. Not surprised they did not last.

I feel you. Though luckily we get breaks on the weekend. But construction crews have been working on my exterior since the end of April. I've had some breaks, but a lot of them waking me up earlier than I want and even if they're not working on my unit it's still a lot of noise until they're up on floor 5 or 6. I'm hoping I can sleep in on my furlough at the end of July but I'm not hoping on it.

I am off work Friday; hope the workers next door are, too. Not that I ever sleep late. Just that a day in my home office where the loudest sound is the music from the living room radio would be nice.

Had to laugh at this post I found...
1. So let me get this straight, there’s no cure for a virus that can be killed by sanitizer and hand soap?
2. Is it too early to put up the Christmas tree yet? I have run out of things to do.
3. When this virus thing is over with, I still want some of you to stay away from me.
4. If these last months have taught us anything, it’s that stupidity travels faster than any virus on the planet, particularly among politicians and bureaucrats.
5. Just wait a second – so what your telling me is that my chance of surviving all this is directly linked to the common sense of others? You’re kidding, right!
6. People are scared getting fined or arrested for congregating in crowds. As if catching a deadly disease and dying a horrible death wasn’t enough of a deterrent.
7. If you believe all this will end and we will get back to normal once we reopen everything, raise your hand. Now slap yourself with it.
8. Another Saturday night in the house and I just realized the trash goes out more than me.
9. Whoever decided a liquor store is more essential than a hair salon is obviously a bald-headed alcoholic.
10. Remember when you were little and all your underwear had the days of the week on them. Those would be helpful right now.
11. The spread of Covid-19 is based on two factors: 1. How dense the population is and 2. How dense the population is.
12. Remember all those times when you wished the weekend would last forever? Well, wish granted. Happy now?
13. Did a big load of pajamas so I would have enough clean work clothes for this week.

Sister:
Why are you planning on going to see your grandson during the time I thought I was going? You already spent 4 days there.
I thought my visit was arranged and I am not getting my messages answered from my nephew.
I want to meet baby before he moves to Toronto.

So a 39 year old asshat in my city decided to run his car into the truck of someone he had a beef with, pushing their vehicle across 3 lanes of traffic on the Hwy and into the ditch off a side road.
Because the Hwy drivers were able to stop in time, only asshat’s passenger received minor injuries.
His friend, steve, posted to the news article “Awesome...right on BP. Careful who you f**k with, lol.
DH seems to have gotten my email addresses blocked from commenting on articles.
Dear Brandon James Peter and steve
You’re supposedly adults. Grow the fuck up already because we all know you don’t pay the price for your fuckwad moves

Dear boss, Sooooooo....because the governor thinks lifting restrictions is good, you want us to come back to the office. An office with no partitions, desks two feet apart (or less), no social distancing capability and you...who has yet to learn about why it is a lousy idea to hug your female employees (trust me, folks...he doesn't even try this with me. I'd break both his arms and hurl his body over the third floor catwalk if he did). As for CDC cleaning guidelines -- the entire building has one cleaning lady. A chain-smoking old chippy whose idea of clean means dumping as much bleach as possible on every surface imaginable. So it may be clean, but your throat is like raw meat meets sandpaper. Frankly, you can kiss my ass on this one. Oh, and I got my settlement money Friday. It is in the bank. I used a small amount to pay off my credit card. The rest is there. Can you build a card board and saran wrap cubical around the top of your desk? I saw them. Inexpensive and quick to build. The cardboard is cut like a window frame the covered with plastic. Next best thing is a face shield with a mask underneath.

Anyone hear of hoarders trying to return toilet paper to Walmart and other stores? No. But I think that most stores have made it clear that they're not taking it back. Also, it's something you'll always use, I'd just keep it and not have to buy toilet paper for the next year or so if I had been a hoarder.

So, you think you have not been discriminated against.
A man who lives in Calgary and had applied for citizenship in Canada has Montana plates. People were yelling at him to go home. American's aren't wanted in Canada.
I have been treated differently when people find out I came from AZ in May. Even though we self-isolated 14 days when the quarantine had expired, and it's been 2 months.
Two of my friends have 20-something grandchildren who tested positive for covid this week. I will probably stay further away from these 2 friends.
All of us a suspect for this contagion.
