Oh yeah, those Debby Myers produce bags are THE BEST at keeping veges fresh in the fridge for a really long time...well worth the investment, imo.

Get ready for even higher prices on food! Due to all the weather problems world wide, the surpluses are falling fast! Some people in very poor countries will starve!
I'm in the south in a major veggie growing area. There are fields of frozen/rotten squash around here and they are predicting a drought this summer...AGAIN! Due to last year's high temps for such a long time & drought, our cotton farmers got less than 1/2 their normal yield per acre on non-irrigated fields. Clothing is going up!
I suspect we will be paying more for lots of different items since oil/gas prices are going up too!

I haven't been shopping lately, so I'm not sure how much the costs have risen, but it was just on the news that fast food restaurants in my area are providing tomatoes "by request only".

I'm still trying to figure out why Looney was at the market to buy produce when she owns a produce store.....

Saw on the news this morning about commodity prices rising, steel, aluminum, and even cotton. Hanes will be increasing their prices about 10% meaning the costs of tightie whities, will be gong up! Also heard about the beef prices, if you are gong to pay that much for the increase, may as well spring for grass fed beef...supposedly better tasting and better for you.
