Not sure where to look in the Malls, but I have suggestions for catalogs or online.
Wintersilks will have some silk shells and blouses Garnet Hill should have some natural fiber clothing and I agree with looking at LL Bean and Land's End.
Coldwater Creek is also a possibility especially if they still have their upscale women's catalog. Can't remember what it was called though.

The thing that REALLY, REALLY ticks me off are the clothes that are 100% polyester, and the tag still says "Dry Clean Only" - what the frack? Seriously, polyester was designed to survive nuclear war, and it won't handle a little water? If you are going to sell me a $90 polyester blouse - the very least you can do is make it so I can throw the damn thing in the washer.

I dunno why but I want to ask using my sexy voice 'what you are wearing'...not to be particularly addressing anyone. Is it sick?

I agree that clothes shopping has become frustrating and at one point I loved to shop for clothes. Long-sleeve button-down shirts have become my nemesis. ARGHH. I once bought them in every color. Lately, I have not been able to find one that fits. I have broad shoulders and long arms, but a small torso. A size 6 should fit. A size 8 is boxy. Ah well, I do have other options for tops.

Other than having issues finding petites that really are and wishing I was eight pounds lighter, I have no issues. Shoes are another story however.

It felt like silk, it looked like silk, it was priced like silk AND it had a dry clean only tag on it. Took it home, wore it, then looked at the tag more carefully. Dry clean polyester? Really?

I have the hardest time finding any natural fabrics in a price range that I can do and a size that fits. Oh, and isn't butt ugly. I'm lucky that I can wear jeans and T-shirts to work, so generally I buy the $8 shirts at Target, since they wear out at the same rate as the more expensive ones I've gotten at Lane Bryant in the past. The truly fun part is remembering to check and make sure any patterns on undergarments aren't visible through the shirt. I could wear polyester in the summer to the office but stepping outside is like stepping into a sauna, why would I do that to myself?

Since I go through t shirts like water, I get mine on sale from Eddie Bauer's outlet for about that price. There are 2 t shirts that I have thrown on the bedroom floor that need to be ditched, both have grease stains on them that won't come out.

I do like most of the clothes on the website, but there is no way in heck that I'd spend over $100 on harem pants (I can't believe they're making a comeback! ).
