Look on the EE menu, Sugi - it shows Virgil as the thread creator - yet frankq as the OP. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png)

I'm sure that the fundawear is 'lighthearted fun' too. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png)

We're having a debate about the economy.
I've claimed that technology has hit a plateau lately. We aren't seeing the amazing, life-changing advances that we saw two, three, four decades ago, just bells and whistles and lackluster improvements of mature technologies.
Conversely, Frank Q claims that tech is as novel and life-changing as ever. He offers "Fundawear" as evidence of the good idea spigot still flowing.
To me it looks like a goofy, expensive novelty that I'd never buy. By the rolling of her eyes, I can safely tell you that Mrs. Virgil agrees. But perhaps we're just old-fashioned, so why not ask a more receptive market here in EE?
Would you buy "Fundwear"? On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is "this technology will have absolutely no meaningful impact anywhere" and 10 is "this technology will have a profound positive impact on the lives of tens of millions of people", what would you rate it?
For the life of me I can't find out what "Fundawear" costs, but suppose a set of male/female underware plus the app to "run" them cost $200.00 US.

EE has a new 'sex toy' and they still don't come running. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/miserable.png)
So this is a debate that the new stuff well it ain't 'new' just more of the old with bells and whistles on it.
Would I buy it, NO.
BUT I could see some people going away on work conventions and maybe having some fun back at the hotel with their significant other that's 2 states away. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/idunno.gif)

This would probably also be used in hot Miami bars and the March Break crowd.

It reminds me of those "Dr. Ho's" commercials from the 90's, with all those actors happily twitching away as they shock themselves into fitter, firmer abs.

My guess is that there would have been a lot more comments about this thread (making fun of it, etc) IF everybody wasn't so busy placing internet order for them. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png)

And you would know this how? You were missing for several minutes. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png)
I think the whole idea is "shocking"...
.... or stimulating. Take your pick.

Damn, I can get the same "thrill" by just wearing skin tight jeans and no undies. And I can do it all by myself without an app ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/angel.gif) Maybe I should post this on the thread "what did you do today to save money?" ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/idunno.gif)

Well, they certainly don't seem "office appropriate." Although they could make meetings more interesting...

Okay, so here's my question... If you were given 'fundawear' (assuming the fit was as fabulous as your other fav's) Would you NOT wear them? Would you not give the remote to someone? C'mon, be honest! You can be honest here. Just wear your disguise! ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png) Or whisper. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png)

I am going in for my i-Lipo in a couple of days. It's a higher tech, more costly version. Afterward, I need to do 400 calorie burn to get the fat glombs into my blood stream and out somewhere. The session is free as an introductory sales pitch. I will report back on this technique to slim the abs. I hope it's like the warm electronic massage I get from my chiro. There won't be any high intensity exercise afterward. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/shocked.gif) I saw nothing in the fundawear that said there was warmth.

D-O-N-'T - GO!! They're just trying to get you in the door - then they'll back you into a corner pressuring you into signing a contract for XXX number of years/sessions/treatments that you can't back out of or cancel - much like the European Health Club and other such "Fitness" Centers.
You'd be better off investing your money in a home gym to suit your own needs/requirements (a fitness equipment store could recommend what's best equipment/workout for you and your goals/health & medical condition for exercising.

This reminds me of a movie where he gives her vibrating panties & they are at a corporate dinner & the contolling device falls & some kid at the next table finds it & starts playing with it. I don't remember what movie but it was a funny scene.
