Once upon a time we used to recognize the security threat a morally compromised person represented as well. It's not just domestic political opponents that dig for dirt. You don't want foreign enemies approaching the head of the intelligence committee in the house with these kinds of photos and blackmailing the person, do you? Paul, you really need to get out more. You'd be surprised at who cheats, who has threesomes, etc., etc. I was born at night, but not last night. Just because I have a Christian conservative value system doesn't mean I live under a rock. I doubt anything would surprise me- have you read the Bible. There's some good stuff in there. To summarize one story... King David- the root of the lineage of Jesus Christ- and a "man after God's own heart" had an affair with the neighbor girl whose husband, Uriah, was in the army. She got knocked up. No problem, David was King after all so he offered the woman's hubby leave from his service in the army to spend a little quality time with his honey. Well, it turned out that hubby was a man of character who declined saying basically-- not a chance. My men are fighting, so I will be fighting. So, King David sought to have him killed by sending him to the front lines where he would certainly be taken out. It seemed like the perfect crime, but it was exposed by the Holy Spirit through Nathan the Prophet and some of you know the rest. (Her son, btw, was King Solomon- which might help explain why he eventually became the wisest (and richest) man in human history) We know that Rahab the whore who is also in the lineage of Jesus. She lived in Jericho and helped the Israelites there by betraying her own people. You can go back further and find that Leah, Jacob's first wife and his first cousin, had Judah. Jacob was tricked into marrying Leah. Leah was not Jacob's favorite. Rachel, her sister was. Jacob also married cousin Rachel and 2 others. Leah introduced the use of Mandrakes, the Biblical version of Viagra. Leah traded Mandrakes with Rachel in Gen 30:14 so that she could have a night of sex with Jacob. Judah’s hooker was Tamar, his unbeknown daughter-in-law. Tamar sold sex to Judah one time - who got her pregnant. Judah was going to kill Tamar - until she proved, by items of payment, that Judah was the father. He never married Tamar. She had twins. Her "illegitimate" twin in Jesus Christ's blood lineage was named Perez.

US politicans have been at it since the night of March 4, 1789 at the celebration party.Wrong. That statement is a disgrace to the honorable men who created the (now) crumbling country that you inhabit. The transpirations which you infer have only been going on in earnest for about 100 years. The "crumbling" aspect is primarily due to liberal policies, which you condone, that have eroded the cohesion and character of the great nation that the great men created in 1789. A complete disgrace. Dalton McGuinty Burns III Although I wouldn't plug a concrete date, there is a bit of truth in what Bills says. What our founders eventually built has yet to be rivaled anywhere else in the world, but there were in fact more than a few that felt jaded at the process and felt that they were getting screwed. It took a little over four years before all 13 states ratified and formally adopted the US Constitution in December 1791. Anybody in any sort of leadership capacity knows that you'll never please everybody.

People screwed around in biblical times, and they're still doing it, and it really doesn't matter what religion they follow, they do it. I know of several of the good Catholic guys who have women on the side.
And I don't think cheating is more prevalent, it just gets posted on the web now.
