President Obama: Liberals are the Problem

Washington D.C. - News and social media outlets were buzzing Monday evening after U.S. President Barrack Obama directed seemingly disparaging remarks at "liberals", a group traditionally considered to be among the President's staunchest supporters. Speaking at a meeting with Israeli diplomats, Pres. Obama told reporters, "We have a tendency to talk about conservative problems, but liberals have problems too. We have to acknowledge that liberals can cause a lot of problems and that lately a lot of the problems we have seen are because of liberals. And that's something we do acknowledge."

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney later downplayed the remarks, claiming that President Obama delivered it "using the most general terms possible" and that the intent was to convey "the reality of bipartisanship where we acknowledge there are problems on both sides that need to be addressed". Prominent Republicans meanwhile characterized the comments as proof of Pres. Obama's failed policies and evidence of the growing tensions between the Obama administration and its traditional Democratic base.

Or you can do as I do: set up an old CRT monitor and shake it really hard to make the electron gun dance. If you do it right, you can make JPEGs sparkly, wiggly, blinky, and my personal favourite, bouncy.

Funny isn't it- the only people that think he is liberal are the conservatives.  He was a moderate from day one.  He lost the progressives after giving Wall Street a pass and sucking up to the health insurance and pharmaceutical lobbies. 

What is funnier is the constant lambasting of the man as a Socialist or Communist- shows you how out of bounds those people are.  I shudder to think what they would do if a real liberal got elected.

I still believe that is the dumbest thing ever...Bush wasn't a conservative, but since the democrats couldn't accept that he had more in common with democrats than republicans when it came to economics, they had to make up a label to describe him.  LOL!
