CL- how does conditioner only washing work? About the same as using shampoo but one less step. I just get it worked through the hair really well and scrub my head like I'm shampooing (no fingernails or crazy flailing around ) and then rinse. I'm currently on day 4 of not washing my hair (I've had allergies killing me and lifting my arms has felt like toooooo much work) and it is still happy. I have one spot that I handle more than the rest of it and it looks a bit greasy to me but not can't leave the house greasy.
The only thing I do to is besides the conditioner only washing is spritz it with a "spray in" conditioner. I mix my regular conditioner with water (about 1 part conditioner to 3 parts water) and use it to perk up the curls if they've been pulled out by too much handling. Or if I didn't wash it I got a lot of my information from this site www.naturallycurly.com PM me if you want, I don't want to bore everyone to death

Right now i am growing out my hair. I have NEVER had long hair. I have always had a shorter cut. Well, i would like to be able to just pull it up and back in the summer. So i am sure the style might not "fit" me, but too bad. I am going to give it a go and see if i like it. I am sure some others might not because people tend to just get used to you however they know you.
