IHOP, have you been getting enough sex lately? We watched Ted last night, I thought it would get her horny, I was wrong.

I used to sleep like a rock, but as others have noted, the older I get the worse it is. I think part of my problem is also that I live alone, and have a history of peeping toms, obscene phone callers, etc. when I was young. Not directed at me, but at my mother. But as a youngster it made a huge impression. I do an awful lot of tossing and turning at night. And my faithful pup is usually plastered to my side (as he is right now ), so it makes it harder to turn. But I'm not going to change that. I would do it without him laying next to me. I bought some melatonin last year, but didn't notice any difference. I read not long ago that it can actually be dangerous for you, but I don't remember now why. I also do the get hot, put foot out of the covers, get cold, cover foot back up. Rinse and repeat. Thankfully not the total night sweats, but I'm sure that's coming

Hell's bells. Here i am WIDE AWAKE!! You and me both, dear. I've been trying to turn my brain off for the past two hours now. I'm not feeling very optimistic that I'll actually get back to sleep tonight, which really sucks because I have a long (but very fun) night ahead of me after work....and I won't have time to take a nap. sent from my electronic distraction

The problem with Insomnia is that it results in 3 am shopping on the internet. I never know what is going to arrive!

I'm not sure if that's better or worse than listening to a British soccer game on the fox soccer channel. I don't know who any of the players are and the announcers have pretty thick accents. the local news doesn't start for another hour at least. sent from my electronic distraction

I usually sleep OK, but now my lower back is somewhat out of alignment so it will wake me up early and make it hard to find a position to sleep in. (I wonder if I can get Shooby to buy me something during her 3AM shopping sprees. )

ugh....my alarm goes off at 5. the last time I saw the clock it said 4:15. I must have dozed off because the alarm scared the hell out of me when it went off. I hit snooze a couple times and came in a little later than usual. hope nobody minds, but I really don't care if they do. good thing casinos pump highly oxygenated air out their HVAC systems, because I'm going to need it to stay awake tonight.

What does the machine do? It pushes air into your airway through a small mask you wear over your nose......It corrects the breathing problems associated with sleep apnea.....If you are over 40, and especially if a person is overweight.....You're doing yourself a favor to get tested.

My 3.5 year old has been coming out of his room multiple times a night lately. So no, I'm not getting a good night's sleep. And I"m in the "cranky zombie zone"

My husband has trouble sleeping but I sleep like a rock and always have. I hope that never ends because insomnia sounds like it sucks big time.

It's my busy season at work, which means I rarely sleep all night. I'm wide awake at 2 am nearly every night for at least an hour or two. I end up getting up and watching tv so I can distract my brain. I know the "experts" say not to do that, but it's the only way I can get my mind to shut down. I can solve the problems of the world at 2 am though. I'm awfully smart then. I wish it would carry over to the daylight hours. . I have started taking melatonin, and it seems to help. But I usually forget to take it... and I remember at 2 am when I wake up.
