Say,is this stuff ever going to get to 900? Gold that is. And when will that 7 dollar silver get here?
I don't know....but it's seems to be moving in that direction for sure....down 20% from it's high gold is. And again, for the record, the $900 number was your estimate Decoy as to your definition of a plunge. Just so we keep the record straight.

Dang, I missed the high. Totally screws up my investment strategy. I'd planned on buying in at $2000/troy ounce and selling when it bottomed out below $900.00.
Maybe I'll luck out when stocks crash .......

IDK, if the emerging markets continue to slow down, the demand story for gold is going to run out of steam too. The gold miners stocks have been taking a beating that is for sure.

It's a slippery slope, I have read about traders buying gold on the cheap though. There could be one last gold rush in this thing yet.

You going to make the play Q? IDK man, BiMetal's math model says the next support for gold is $1100. Plus we have confirmed reports that the paper is what drives this thing.

aham,
I really feel like it's close. I think the gold bugs are trying to find a bottom, at least for now, and I think there is enough pseudo panic nonsense out there to blip the price here and there..... I feel like there's a trade here but the feeling isn't quite right.... I don't think any move will be big, but I have the feeling that a trade is there. I'm right at the edge.......damn.....

LOL... Q, I couldn't agree more that there is enough stuff to keep the "good stories" for gold going.. I would wait to see what this earnings season will bring first, JMO.. If earnings have been slowing it will show up a bit this time around and then the next earnings season will be tough, however, even if earnings are showing a bit of slowing, because the market wants to run, gold could drop a couple hundred more very quickly while we will see 15k+ on the DOW. JMO only though.

Steady, First of all Happy Birthday..You keep growing between the ears. .. Next gold has a cycle of increased production as we learn more and more about where it is. The total gold found in the ground keep us expanding the production.. Most miners have found more gold and with higher prices are making money mining it. Gold production doubles about every sixty years. Now for coffee production on the Big Island!! Just a thought, BiMetalAuPt

Bruce, I went in to buy a pound of Kona coffee the other day and it's now much higher than Jamaica Blue!! I seem to remember something about aphids, viruses or something wrecking havoc with the coffee plants on the islands. I can't find any Maui coffee. My last vice is getting more and more expensive ...

You can get 5 lbs of the peaberry beans for only $45.00 Blue Mountain is about $35.00 a lb here. Options? Peet's maybe? You're right, I tried going cold turkey one time. I told my son to lay off the sugar. His response was "I will i you give up coffee". Sure, no problem, right? First couple of days on came the caffeine withdrawal headache. I mistakenly thought that was it. However, on the fourth day I woke up feeling like I'd been run over by the garbage truck. Everything hurt, I was tired, nauseous, the whole flu like symptoms routine. Ok, I said, something's not right. Turns out caffeine is one of the most addictive drugs there is.So, What'cha gonna do? Whatever it takes to get that cappuccino or grande cup of Starbuck's dark roast.

IE every lbs increased by $9.00 each over the price one and a half years ago...Where is not talked about. BiMetalAuPt

Nooo! Five pounds of peaberry beans is $150.00. I used to pay $105.00. I don't drink coffee, but my mother does and she loves it. I made the mistake of getting this particular coffee for the cappuccino machine several years ago. Now, other coffee tastes terrible, according to her. I wouldn't know. It all tastes terrible to me. Like you, she gets headaches if she doesn't get her coffee. Always has, always will. At least, I've got her down two three cups a day from several pots!

Bruce, my bad. My old man eyes don't always see exactly what's there and the old brain misinterprets it if they do.
mmhmm, I'm down to one cup a day .... a 16oz one. Oh, plus a Rock Star or two.
