...well, Virgil, can we adequately apply the term "racist" to our canine friends? Webster: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
...I do think it fair to say that dogs recognize other dogs, as distinguishable from cats or pigeons or squirrels... I also think that, as pack animals, dogs expect other dogs to follow recognizable social rules... can a chihauhau exert/maintain pack authority a great dane? yes... does that mean all great danes are subordinate? no... can that same chihuahua exert/maintain pack authority over a cat? it could over a domesticated cat in the same integrated pack... probably not over a feral cat... now, a great dane can have positional authority, by virtue of bulk, over cats both domesticated and feral... unless a feral clowder is afoot... then, probably not... ...still, to answer your question... no, I hadn't wondered (before today) if dogs were racist... ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/nerdy.png)

Yes I have checked more than one bag. We have a big family and it is impossible to fit everything in one bag. Plus I need luggage for my shoes.

I've just been enjoying the mayhem. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/grin.png) Although I must admit: far too little squawking. Weltz's rant was mildly entertaining, but I was hoping for some real creativity from the native EEers. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png)

Look it up....there's a wealth of information at your fingertips.

I merely expressed disappointment that this was yet another one of your "gibberish amuses me" threads. If you want to call it a rant, knock yourself out.

We could always have a deep and psychological and interesting debate over how 'gibberish' isn't a synonym for 'chicanery', and you clearly intended the latter meaning. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/charmed.png) You might want to qualify that for the members whose browsers are asking them "Have you ever used deodorant?" ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png)

Dark chocolate is the best with strawberries. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/tongue2.png) Are they best if eaten under the "morning star"? Are they better perhaps if eaten after being impaled on one of those little martini swords ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/huh.gif) ? If your chocolate is eaten in the dark,....how do you know if it really is DARK chocolate? Does straw really have berries? And, If so, having tasted straw, wouldn't a real berry be better? ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/idunno.gif)

No, Virgil. I said gibberish and I meant gibberish. These threads make about as much sense as trying to have a meaningful conversation with a patient in the throes of dementia.
