Dollar bottomed a couple years ago. I think we called the bottom but I cant find my thread on it.

I've always thought that, in a way, in theory, a currency, technically is always backed by gold even if you print more. If you look at the dollar, and you print twice as many, the price of gold goes up because the printed dollars have no backing. But if you printed twice as many, and the price of gold in dollars doubles, are the dollars not backed?? Hmmmm..................... A zen riddle..............

Would it not be safer to bet on a system ? Like Bar-Bell or 50/50 ? WELL, It would not be a Black Swan if you could see it come.. Correct.. Like Lehman Brothers .;.they did not know how insolvent it was.. No bank wanted any part of the problem.. The system keep going down hill as no bank would lend overnight night to other banks.. The Fed had to come in with massive cash infusions and back stop all banks for overnight lending. I do think Jimmy Dimon was the one banker that could lend to his normal crowd.
