haven't been fishing since my dad stopped dragging me out with him as a kid. I don't chew gumballs, but I'm pretty addicted to the cobalt blue color "5" gum

I used to be fluent in French but I'm rusty now.
I have an automatic, but I prefer manual. Mommy vans don't come in standard transmission.

Swamp's question (unanswered, I think): Do I coupon? Yes, when it's convenient and something I'll buy anyway (Fred Meyer ad had a coupon for eggs, $1.25 a dozen, no milk or meat coupon this week, those should be in next week's ad).
Sports/weekend warrior? No, but I'd like to do more sport stuff eventually (snowboarding, rock climbing, etc).
What is the weirdest food you've ever eaten?

Weird food- kimchi aka fermented cabbage. Tastes as bad as it smells. Candles- no, I think they're dangerous.
What time to you go to sleep at night?

Frog legs? Crayfish? Moose? You all are city folk, those should be weird enough ... Candles, can't really do them any more, occasionally Christmas Wish from Yankee, or in a blackout. I love all the seasons for different reasons. I like winter least probably, although i like this fire going in the fireplace right now. Spiders? Kill them or let them go outdoors?

I love all the seasons for different reasons. I like winter least probably, although i like this fire going in the fireplace right now. Spiders? Kill them or let them go outdoors? When I bought this house, there was a large metal garden sculpture of a spider hanging on the garden shed. I thought it was quaint. It turned out to be a direct warning. My house and yard are owned by the spiders, not me. So, "we" had a talk (well, I talked, they listened) and I let them know that they were safe as long as they stayed outside. Once inside, however, they were guaranteed a death sentence if spotted. The number of spiders inside has since dropped dramatically. ;D (But, we do set stink bugs and lady bugs free outside. New Years Eve, DH found a stink bug and it died instantly when he put it outside in the snow. ) Oops. ETA: my question: is there anywhere in the world that is on your bucket list?

Do you know how much cash is in your purse right now? I very, rarely carry a purse. I do keep some money in my lunch bag, but no, I don't know exactly how much is in there...

bucket list - Germany and France. Germany, because that's where my family came from and I'd like to visit the area, and France because I love the Eiffel Tower.
If you are a dog person, do you prefer little dogs or big dogs? I was going to say lap dogs, but I realize alot of big dogs think they ARE lap dogs!

What do you want written on your tombstone?

Albert Einstein!
Lunch box: No figures back then, Mine was red plaid. And I broke the thermos the first day of school.
No tombstone, cremation
No skiing for me. That's why I'm still walking the earth!
How many pans do you have? How many do you really use?

Pans: I have 5 frying pans of various sizes -- some stainless steel and an extra large and an extra small non-stick. Some are Revere ware and some are Calphalon. And, YDS just gave me a square non-stick pan/skillet for Christmas. I use them all for various tasks.
Pots: I have 9 stainless steel pots of various sizes. Some are Revere ware, some are Calphalon, and some are Kitchen Aide. I use them all for various tasks.
I also have a non-stick electric griddle/skillet. (Sometimes my middle-aged brain combines the words and I call it a skiddle -- always leaves my family confused, LOL).
I culled many pots and pans from my supply when I moved 2.5 years ago. I have never missed the ones that I trashed/donated, so I made the right choices.

Favorite dinner? I have so many, but probably steak and potatoes (I made an awesome steak the other night, have to figure out what spices I marinated it in, lol. I just throw in whatever sounds good that day, but this one was one of my best.) Do you keep blankets on the couch (to use, not just over the back or to cover an ugly couch )?
